It should definitely be in the RiffTrax font....have Mike as a characture...IE, oversized head.  I'd like to see it with Mike on a box stand in the front with his wand.  Then the back would say, "Yes, we're back!"

...But in order to be 'back', RiffTrax had to have gone somewhere in the first place, and to my knowledge (and incessant refreshing of the RiffTrax forums day and night), it hasn't.

(Unless you're another one of those freaks that can't see RiffTrax as anything other than the reincarnation of MST. In that case - take a deep breath, put your homemade bots away, and repeat to yourself, "RiffTrax is not MST, I should really just relax!")

I love the idea of t-shirts as advertising to get more people to discover Rifftrax. However I must admit I'm not a bit embarrassed renting the movies--I think it's fun!  I wasn't able to find Roadhouse at my local Lackluster Video, so I asked an employee and she actually said "Roadhouse One or Two?" I didn't know there was a Two, but she informed there was, except "Swayze isn't in it."  I think she fully assumed I was a big Swayze fan and I just played along.

As far as "freaks" who think Rifftrax is MST, what's the big deal? It's a helluva lot LIKE MST, features the same main guy and the exact same concept, so... Some of us have missed MST a great deal, and are happy about Rifftrax because it is, let's face it, a lot like having new MST episodes to watch. I'm not seeing how that's a problem.

Tarantulas, your t-shirt designs rock!  All of your ideas are great.  I had an idea for a picture of Spocks face from STV with the slogon "bullshit, captain" but in order for them to sell them they'd have to pay stupid big royalties to use Nimoy's image so... that was just a pie-in-the-sky from me awhile back...

As for the whole, "let go of MST3K it's never coming back..." etc. attitude that gets thrown around here a bit, I gotta say I also have a problem with that.  First of all, it's mean to us sad MST3K geeks who say a sad little prayer every night that Sci-Fi will someday come to their senses and bring it back.  Second, I gotta think that if Sci-Fi actually DID one day call Best Brains and say, "Hey, you know what?  We WERE idiots for cancelling a funny, quality show that cost us next to nothing to produce!  C'mon back", that Mike and Kevin and the gang would jump at the chance.  There's no actor or writer in the world that would turn down regular work, and I think they all really did enjoy doing it.

So, stop harshing our buzz, man!  Thanks!

I had to recreate the logo because the web version was a little jaggy. Took a few minutes to find the font.
