STORY: In spite of having fallen a mile from a helicopter at the end of CRANK, Chev Chelios faces a Chinese mobster who has stolen his nearly indestructible heart and replaced it with a battery-powered ticker that requires regular jolts of electricity to keep working.

Alright, I'm on board!

Everyone I know hates Crank, but I happen to like it very much. I'm leaning towards roleplaying this one as well when it hits theaters.

Any fans/haters out there in the Round Table?

And he'll be back again, in 3-D!!!!!!!!! (and Bullet-Time just like the matrix)

QuoteCollider got the chance to speak to writers Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor, who revealed that even though they haven't started work on "Crank 2," they are already planning "Crank 3," which will be in 3-D. The reason why the second installment will not be in 3-D, is because the duo is waiting for the necessary cameras to get smaller.

While "Crank 2" will not be in 3-D, Neveldine added that they have built a moving bullet-time camera rig for the film "We're going to be creating a 'moving bullet[-time] camera' that has never been done before. We're putting about 15 cameras onto a piece of speed rail, all these super lightweight cameras that I'll be holding on rollerblades flying around people. So you'll have that image that you've seen in the Matrix, where they stop motion and the cameras spin around, except for the fact that our cameras can spin around and move while the actor moves."

"Crank 2" begins shooting in six weeks and is scheduled to hit theaters in 2009.

Crank 3-D, would be the 2nd movie I'd spend 35 dollars to see.

Crank was pretty ridiculous but it was fun in the "turn-your-brain-off" type of way. It is not a good movie but it was entertaining.

I didnt know you hated Crank.  I kinda liked it,  Especially the ending, where he dies.  Thats stupid to make a sequel

I was bieng threated with death by wolf raping before it was cool!.

I like Jason Strgightham (however it is spelled!) in almost anything and I liked the movie despite myself.  You would think the ending of Crank would severly limit the ability to make sequels....... but here we are.

I will, for sure, Netflix it.

Loved the first one - saw it in theaters and own the DVD. Will definitely catch the sequel on as big a screen as I can find.

My affinity with Crank can be summed up with this single clip...

So bad-ass.

That's my plan as well, but I'm also slamming some Red Bull before it to get into the spirit.

Watchmen & Crank 2, my movie events of '09.

Edit: Again, I fail horribly at multitasking...typo.

So how can Crank 2 possibly get any cooler?

The casting of Corey Haim? That's pretty cool BUT...

...have Mike Patton do the entire score!!!

I thought the first one was really stupid, but in the great kind of way.  I'm looking forward to the sequel.
