Bob

My 76 year old dad has this at the top of his netflix queue.

I dont know whether to be proud or horrified.

So I went over to RT to see if any reviews were in yet, and I was greeted w/ this instead...

It's a producer's dream, since Neveldine + Taylor's cameras of choice both cost only a few thousand dollars apiece (the $3500 Canon XH-A1 and the even lighter, cheaper, Canon HF10, which runs about $1000); using in-camera tricks and their own cinematography, they promise a film that's stylistically close to the first Crank -- kinetic and handheld, with a picture quality that's something between digital and film.

I never knew that about their camera setup. That's neato.

Spoiler-tagging the next bit...

How awesome is that?!?!

I was gonna hold out until Saturday night but no, I've a date w/ it on Friday.

Happy Chev-Day, everyone!!

The pace of his destruction is mind blowing and borders on Zen like.

Crank 2 is dumb, insane, offensive, sexy, beautiful, blood soaked, and just plain mean. I dare you not to love every minute of it.

*pumps fist into air*

Bring it, Chelios!

I'm seeing it later today, I can't wait ;D

So, I've only seen the trailer, and I've never been west of the Mississippi, so I'll have to defer to people more in the know than I: In what way(s), specifically, do the events of this film differ from a typical day in greater Los Angeles?

Watched it yesterday, loved it. It was basically the first movie again, just with all the little things notched up a few slots. I'll definitely be seeing it again.

torgosPizza

I saw it tonight, it was definitely out there. It was way dumber than the first one, IMO, but then again I wasn't expecting anything less. It was clearly meant for fans of the first films, which in some ways is all we needed.

Bob

I know they must have already started the script for Crank 3.

Any guesses?

Thrifty

I thought that was some kind of breakfast cereal.

Lord I hate Jason Statham.

Dude, if you're going to post a video that autoplays, at least hide it behind some spoiler tags.

Everyone else, commence making fun of me for being annoyed.

I'll definitely be seeing it again.

I'm seeing it again on Wednesday! It rules so fuckin' much.

Chelios has officially entered the Jack Burton territory w/ me when it comes to anti-heroes.

The trailer threatened to go Chelios on my ass if I would've suppressed it. So no go, I'm kind of enjoying this life thing!

Saw this in a NYC subway station. I thought the tagline defacement was funny:

A bit funny.....good that his insurance paid for it. Seems as bullet under his nose though.

The difference is that in this movie, it's all being done by one person, instead of a multitude of people, as it usually is. ;)
