With the animated characters and the short framed within the picture there's just too much on screen and all the peripheral stuff distracts from the commentary. It's not so much gilding the lily as taking the lily and burying it in glitter and paste.

I was a little distracted by Animated Mike's gestures at first (I was watching him instead of the movie), but after a couple minutes I fell in love with the format. It was great to SEE Mike, Kevin, and Bill watching shorts again.

I've liked pretty much all the Rifftrax shorts (though One Got Fat sends me fetal), but I hope Rifftrax does all future shorts like this, even if it means a disc-only release.

I could've done without the animations.  The animated intro was cute, but the short itself should have been more of the screen.  Maybe next time zoom toward the screen, and show them sitting in front of a picture that takes up the whole screen?

And the songs?  Brilliant!

Same quality as all the other ones. It is available on DVD already like the other shorts.

We are working on a Vol.2. The video guys are looking at the shorts and seeing which ones we can do, which ones everyone wants, and which ones we have the best sources for. We'll keep ya posted.
