You know, maybe the fact that he's up at all hours posting explains his crankiness?

You might be right. I know if I was on the same site through the entirety of the day, I'd complain about everything, too.

I knew I could depend on my fellow fans to come to my rescue, lol.
Anyways yeah- to clarify: from what I saw, I liked the animation (in the one minute preview).

I don't think he was attacking you.  He was just making another terribly lame joke that makes him giggle to himself.

I know, I never REALLY took any offense, seriously.  Just being  silly  ;)

There will be NONE of that on this forum of a comedy website!

I'm sure this is only the first in a long line of RiffTrax DVDs ;)

*Does a little dance.*
Imrahil: Don't care about Riding with Death.

Bob: Turkey.

Action Batch:  Woah, let's all mellow out and rap about this.

Wow!  You weren't kidding about the product shipping on Thanksgiving -- I got mine the day after!  I can hear the DVD rattling around inside, though; must've come loose.  Hope it's not scratched :-\

The animation was in the DVD preview/sample, guys. Learn to click on things. In fact, click on everything. Especially if it says "free iPod" or "free Xbox."

of "Two Girls, One Cup"
...and there he was, reigning supreme at number two.  The One... The Only... The Unabeefer.

I got my copy, and have enjoyed it.  I really don't mind the animation much at all... in fact, I personall think they should have done that with ALL the shorts on the DVD, even if JUST to make it different than what I already have of the other shorts.  That way, you get a DVD of shorts you may or may not already have, and they are viewable with or without animations.

What "music" is included in the DVD? It says "all music by Mike, Kevin, Bill," etc. I can't watch it, it's for Xmas.

Songs from the RiffTones.  It was the Song-Fu competition by Quikstopentertainment.com:

Yeah, I heard them all. Are they just randomly on the DVD?

Okay, haha. Kind of arbitrary unless Jaws happens to show up. Good to know anyway.

Just watched mine last night: Awesome!  Loved the songs (found 3, are there more?)  I'm hoping that since this is Vol1, there will be a Vol2.  I've been holding off on the shorts until I was sure I could burn them to a DVD and fill most of it, then this came along.

I just want to know, if I keep waiting will all the shorts make it to Vol2+ or are some of the oldest ones not going to make it?

I hate for a post to be somewhat negative, because I absolutely love the shorts (I must, having paid for all the downloads, then buying them again on the disk), but the CGI animated versions of Mike, Bill and Kevin are terrible, and worse yet, terribly distracting. I think the greatest "innovation" of RiffTrax is the abandonment of silhouettes, etc., from the riffing. Mike/Joel and the Bots were one thing, and a classic, but on-screen distractions aren't necessary any more. The riffs and the shorts are entertaining enough.

Please don't release any more shorts with animated characters. I could barely watch the exclusive short (which was a major part of my enticement to order the DVD).

Sorry to be so critical, but I truly love what you guys do and I hate to have something like this interfere with your comedic genius.

Well, I thought the animated characters with the screen worked out fairly well.  Just goes to show, you can't get the fans to agree on anything!   :)
