Can someone explain why people like Stephen Fry? I've never heard him say anything funny, or heard of anyone knowing someone who heard him say something funny, and yet people say he "is" funny. He's like the Bigfoot of comedy.

Just search youtube and start watching, bratpop. You've got about 25 years worth of brilliance to catch up on! You're in for a real treat!

I've seen him guest-starring in enough stuff to be impressed with how consistently he wasn't funny, so... I have no desire to go on a treasure hunt to see how funny he USED to be. George Carlin used to be funny. Now he's dead. Moving on.

I would love to see The Foywonder from Dread Central be a guest riffer. His reviews are hilarious. Although for him, they would have to riff a SciFi original movie or something of that ilk, which is unlikely.

Actually, what about Vern guest riffing on a Segal movie? Or maybe something with Bruce Willis in it, like Die Hard.

Invisible NanoGhost

Maybe Lewis Black?
Although half the fun is watching him in action.

Prof. Bobo

Of course I'd like to see some of the old cast of MST3K join the group for a movie or two, but I'd like to see either Miles O'Keefe or Al Gore.

I would suggest Graham Greene. Most people know him from Dances with Wolves, but he's really cool and has a great sense of humor. I know him from The Red Green Show as Edgar K. P. Montrose the "explosives enthusiast", where he's really funny.

Felt like bumping an old thread with the name Louis CK since I'm finishing listening to this series of clips:

Ricky Gervais. William Shatner.

Ooh, not sure if it's been said before, but Shatner on the new Star Trek movie. He's already got a beef with them for keeping him out. Payback would be so sweet.

I just want Bridget back. I was listening to Next again last night and she was so funny. She and Lileks are my favorite guest riffers. Can't they find a way to get her to do another riff? I mean, they know where she lives . . .

Bring back Bridget!

Just thinking back to him in Maverick makes me agree with you here.

I couldn't agree more.  She was so funny the times we saw her on MST and she was hilarious on this trax.  But I never even hear her name mentioned as a writer on any of the rifftrax so maybe she's just burned out on the whole deal.  If Bill Waterson, one of the funniest people alive, can get burned out after 20 some odd years of doing his thing, anybody can get burned out in their comedy fields.  Still, I miss her.
"Did she just say Chipping?"

I'd love to see Bridget back, too. She is so good at it and she has good chemistry with Mike. She's a Best Brain, for crying out loud! Her and Paul we don't hear about anymore.
Wow, Bill, Watterson as a guest riffer. Now that would be something!
