Shyness—for years it has prevented boys from becoming men and girls from landing men. How can shyness be conquered? By imitating those who are better than you: the popular children. This is the advice that the New Kid in School receives from his father: alter who you are to make people who don't know you like you more. It must be good advice; after all, the man is wearing a suit. Watch TV's Dick York—the first Darrin from Bewitched—try to overcome his shyness by putting on a sweater in Shy Guy, riffed by Mike, Kevin and Bill. (Dick Sargents need not apply.)

Excellent.  Now what about this "Self-Conscious Guy" the catalog is teasing me with.  Do we get him soon as well?
I thought I was Dale.

The very beginning seems to be cut off.  It starts off with Kevin in mid syllable.

Good Lordy.  They're doing that one? One of the funnier things I found in that one was the titular character gets a spotlight shone in his face everytime he gets uncomfortable.  It's like the lightbulb in his skull was turned on.

This somehow slipped out, we are fixing and your files will be automatically updated when it's done.  Sorry about this.

That's next week, we should have an announcement about that soon...

Sweet!

Can we get a short about Bullet Bill next week?
FINE

Are you starting a Mr. Guy series? What's next, Lonely Guy? Egotistical Guy? Slightly Uncomfortable Guy? Something Not Quite Right But Can't Put His Finger On It Guy?

Darth Geek

Excellent short. Very funny.

Did anyone else think that the guy in the white shirt "Chick" helps open his locker looks a LOT like a young Tom Cruise?

A classic short from the public domain! (And featured on RiffTrax Live Online!)

What is Rifftrax Live Online?

Or is that part of the announcement that is coming soon?

I was just thinking on Monday and Tuesday that since no 20Qs was announced that a short was due. Looks like I was right.

Do you guys know when the files will be updated?    Just want to make sure I sync up the updated version with all my goofy Apple stuff.

Thanks.

This was pretty mediocre. I thought the guys had learned by now that the best shorts are the weird ones, and this one wasn't very noteworthy aside from Dick York being in it, which is pretty low on list of "noteworthy things in the universe." I didn't think it was very riffworthy when I first saw it, and I guess my instincts were right. It's not you, honey... it's the short.

This was what I wrote in my notes:
"A greasy-haired Crispin Glover prototype, played
by Dick York, learns to overcome his shyness by
stalking the more popular people, taking notes,
and eventually stealing their personal identities."
