For MrTorso, and others who asked.  Here's a list of some of the best and worse performing titles, straight from the guy who signs my checks (hint: not Erik)

Some of the most popular titles, in no particular order:

Jurassic Park
300
Transformers
Star Wars anything
Harry Potter

Some of the least popular, in no particular order:

Greys Anatomy
Glitter
Crossroads
Over the Top
Missile to the Moon
Island of Dr Moreau

Take from that what you will.

How is that possible?  The Star Wars riffs were terrible.  Well, Revenge of the Sith was okay.

That's sales totals, not listener rankings.  That's how.

And because taste is subjective. Almost all of the riffs in the lowest selling section are my favourites and a bunch of the riffs in the highest selling are my least,
FINE

Exactly.  It just goes to show that anything with the Star Wars name slapped on it will sell like crazy.  I'm assuming that "Star Wars anything" includes the holiday special.  If so, that would be one of the few movies to break the Rifftrax theory of older flicks not selling.  Ah, the power of the Star Wars brand name.

Also, I enjoyed the prequel riffs.  The worst was probably the second one.  Still, it was pretty funny.  But the Holiday Special is probably the best of the bunch, IMO.  Anyway, as Mr. Grug said, taste is subjective.  But considering that all of the Star Wars riffs have an average of a four star rating or above, it would seem that your opinion is in the minority.  *Shugs*  Believe me, I know how that is regarding Rifftrax.   :P
Imrahil: Don't care about Riding with Death.

Bob: Turkey.

Action Batch:  Woah, let's all mellow out and rap about this.

It'd be interesting to see an updated list of those sales.  I wonder if Rifftrax Presents is selling poorly without Mike, and any recent riffs have entered the top 5.

How is it possible?  Because opinions differ.  One man's steak is another man's broccoli.

Rifftrax Presents are probably slightly cheaper since Bill & Kevin don't have to get-on-a-jet.

I live just a squidge north of Minneapolis, and I offered 'em the opportunity to do the Presents in my basement, but Bill was all like "Why are there four deadbolts on the outside of the door?" and Kevin was all like "Dude, why the soundproofing even on the kill floor?"

Some people, huh?
