RVR II

If you ignore the last three releases, the ones that predated it were:

Dirty Dancing
The Day After Tomorrow
Pirates of the Caribbean
Spider-Man 2
Ocean's 11
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

Okay, I'm tired of typing out titles, but there were more. The last new release before the latest wave was I am Legend back in April.  In fact, then we got a wave of three new releases in a row as well (Cloverfield and Beowulf being the other two).

So.. Hey! How Bout all these New Releases lately?! :-X

Ya'know.. The ones that are on a loooong wait through Netflix, or you have to reserve ASAP at RedBox before they're all rented out?? ::)

Well, while normally I'd join the griping if it was stuff like Beowulf, I don't really think that it's too risky for the boys to assume that their fan base would have copies of Iron Man and Crystal Skull. Frankly, I'd be surprised if less than half of the Rifftrax fan base hadn't already picked up Iron Man  before the announcement. And the Happening was still on sale, so it's all good.

The first rule of Rifftrax:  Don't talk about Rifftrax!

The other thing is, you don't HAVE to watch them the day they come out.

Speaking of talking crazy, here's something I've always wondered about:

Any possibility of midnight releases for Special RiffTrax? i.e. An extra special guest or a movie that's being riffed the same day as the release, etc.

Why?  This is the internet, not a box store.  Midnight is different depending on where you live too, so it silly.
