Bring back Bridget!

Tyrant

The line about a neighborhood kid running in and kicking Iron Man's crotch had me in hysterics.

I loved Mike's reference to Calvin & Hobbes. (It's rather subtle.)

I caught it! :D

I forgot -- "Xanadude, home of Charles Foster Kane the Third."

a pretty girl is like

Loved all the riffs about Jeff Bridges being comically evil looking and his evil name.  Especially loved the bit with Stane sitting in his evil drawing room wearing his evil robe and evil pyjamas.

Also the awesome comparison to Neal Stephenson!
I'm all out for kicks...and every inch of me spells EXCITEMENT!

My favorite is actually one of disembaudio's sync lines: "...can only be described as a descent into hell." Could be the delivery, could be it just threw me off guard. Its while the woman is reporting on the war torn region.

I wished they had made a comment about the fact that the bomb that injured Stark was only ten feet away, yet, he only get a little shrapnel. That close, he should have been blown to pieces.

Thinking back, that actually is a bit odd that they ignored that. They could've started the "Ah, at last a comic book movie showing some realism..." gag there.

I really loved the lines when the Ten Rings leader was watching Stark through the camera.

"Being evil here."

*quick cut*

"Still evil"

Otomite

I'm not sure, but did Bill slip in a Sims reference?

MartyS (Gromit)

Really great riff.  Most of my favorites have already been mentioned except one:

The Keanu Reeves bit near the beginning had me on the floor.

Later,
Marty

Yeah, I loved the extended Keanu Reeves monolougue over the song. Seriously, what the *&$# was that song? I complain about rap being just a guy talking, but that seemed more like and extended rambling interstitial in a rock song. How utterly stupid.

If you're talking about the song at the beginning of the film, the one played in the Fun-Vee, it was Back in Black by AC/DC.

He means the one that was being played while Stark was working on his Hot Rod during the flashback (before he goes overseas).

Ah, okay. When someone says beginning, I guess I took it to mean minute 1. My bad.

It's all Act I stuff, so it's a forgivable mistake.
