Well if and when an mp3 of this is available, you could buy that one episode as a download from Amazon for $1.99.  I've never downloaded anything from them, so I don't know what format they use though.

They have a proprietary video player you HAVE to use.  You could watch it with the mp3, but in my opinion there videos are disgustingly DRM'd.
They continuously make you download updates to their player as well.  It just becomes a pain in the ass.

Ahh.  I thought I saw an option of "watch on your tv" but I didn't look very far into how that'd work.

Last time I tried it you couldn't burn to disc so I don't know how else you'd be able to watch it on your tv unless it's through hardware you HAVE to buy.

I really enjoyed this. Good riffing, and a reminder how few choices we had as kids so that this looked good. THis just makes me want them to riff Ang Lee's HULK even more!

Riff Automan next!

1.  Hulu is only available in the US.  We know.  Sorry.

Not Cool   :grr:

*gammer patiently twiddles his thumbs while he waits for this to become available to the rest of the world*

Love it, love it love it... the only thing I miss is a full screen version.  Dicked around with it on Windows XP SP whatever with IE7 and then some, and couldn't figure it out.

Thanks for the freebie, though!!  Good deal regardless!!

Wow.  Television was impressively stupid once upon a time.  I haven't watched actual broadcast TV in years, so maybe it still is.

It is.

This worked great for me. Thanks, guys!

Full screen isn't supported by the Overcast player yet, but that is a feature they are actively working on. Hopefully for our next Hulu / Overcast release it'll be ready...?

Wow, thank you!  This is so cool!  Maybe my dreams of seeing TJ Hooker riffed can still be fufilled?  By the way, did anyone else see Lou Ferrigno at Comic-Con?  It doesn't look like he's aged at all since his Hulk days.  It's a little creepy.

Good experiment, but watching a tiny movie on my 17" monitor is bad for the eyes.

Wouldn't mind syncing the riff up with my DVD copy of the series though.

The only beef I has is that you can't embed and share it (even though the option to embed is there).  I tried it, but the Riff didn't go with it (I guess it's because you've got a special deal going with HULU so you keep what's yours).

I did enjoy it, but it was really too hard to squint and see the images with the little window they provide.  If they can make it bigger, I could get used to it.

Yeah, this is gonna be a bit tricky; with Netflix not letting you 'rent it' and RedBox doesn't carry Anything Hulk related :scared:
We may just have to end up buying the 1 episode, or entire 1st season for this :-\

EDIT: Called Netflix to ask about when this would be available for rent, and they told me they're not sure why it's only available to 'Play' only, and have no idea when the 1st season would be available for rent

Looks like we'll have to make the purchase elsewhere in order to enjoy this Riffed on 'The Big Screen' :'(

I'd like to second the person who asked that you NOT invest a lot of time in a project that only people in the US can watch.

I found the complete first season on Amazon.com used for less than $20.00 (w/ S&H incl.) so I just placed my order 8)

If you have an audio capturing program you could create your own .mp3 from the hulu sync, but it would have the hulk audio as well.  Plus the commercial breaks, but you could edit down and gerry-rig it.
