Im pretty sure this has been said before, but I agree with anyone who said Firefly.  Its an ok show, nothing spectacular.  Im not sure why people make a big deal out of it.

Much as I love Firefly, I don't think people would be nearly as obsessed with it and proclaiming it to be the most awesome thing ever if it hadn't been canceled. If it was still going, everyone would probably just think "That's a really good show", but because it was cut "before it's time", it's an INJUST OUTRAGE.

I love Firefly deeply, and while I loved Serenity, I'm still pissed about it.  I feel like it could have been a really great cult franchise that lasted at least another movie, and it ruined it for me by... well if you've seen the movie, you know.

I think the movie was fine,just not the greatest Sci-Fi movie of all time.

Also I wish they had gone the Star Trek rout and instead of making it on a big budget thet they couldn't make back they had made it for about the same money as a few tv episodes.  If they had done that it would have made money not lost it at the box office and we could be on our 3rd movie by now.

Bah!  This show would have jumped the shark just like Buffy or Angel if it had gone on for one or two more seasons..  Whedon can't help but to take one of his own good ideas and fuck it up..  Don't believe me?  Pick up a copy of the comic of Season 8 of Buffy.  Terrible, just terrible.  You are much better off just remembering Firefly the way it was.
