Okay, maybe I sound like a n00b, but what is "ATI"?
Are you talking about the ATI all in wonder video cards, or a all in one scanner/copier/printer/etc ???

Maybe I mis read your post there :-[

*laughs*
Yes. I'm talking about the scanner/printers. :)
OOPS! :speechless:

Sorry bout that..
I had 1 combo setup like that and it was more a hassle than anything for my business so I got rid of it quick.

All I use are the separate/individual equipment

Might want to look around some sites for a review of this.

I decided a couple years back to never buy another inkjet printer again. Laser printers are so inexpensive now, there's no reason not to go that route.

Are there any affordable laser printers that will print directly onto DVDs and CDs?

Dunno. That's never been a priority of mine.

Aren't laser printers all monochrome, too?

Oh, HECK no. My laser printer, from 1998, is a color model.

Really? HOw the hell does that work? Do you have to buy special paper?

Nope. Laser printers use toner, which they heat onto the page. The results looks terrific and are not water-soluble like inkjet.

I never did post a picture of the computer I built for my brother last month. It sure is pretty. The only thing he needs now is a better cpu cooler.

RVR II

A Thermaltake CL-P0401 110mm Full-Range Fan CPU Cooler (This thing Is HUGE!)

It works Very Well with my setup 8)

I'm expecting some new parts Friday night from Newegg.

INTEL |C2Q Q6600 2.40G ---- gonna try to overclock
TWIN2X2048-8500C5D -  2 gig
ASUS P5N-E SLI NF650I SLI
ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro 92mm CPU Cooler
EVGA 320-P2-N815-AR GeForce 8800GTS 320MB
Seagate 400GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache SATA HD

Went to Fry's today and got a few things:

Case:  Antec p180 , got an 182 in the box---better cable management.
Soundcard:  Creative  X-Fi XtremeGamer
DVD Burner: Samsung 18x SATA

damn....been over a year now with this set up.

q6600 is overclocked @ 3 gig
and with Ram cheap as hell, i just added another 2 gigs.

and that 400GB HD was DOA, and when i sent it back to Newegg it was discontinued, so I got a 500 gig for the same price.

I play some games on this...runs Crysis well, and the new Brothers in Arms looks real good on it.  But lately i've been syncing and burning a lot of rifftrax discs i can't find.

Man! After losing my OS 200gb hard drive the other day, I'm forced to go to a 500gb as the price is not that much of a difference :-\

I just prefer to use a smaller gig hard drive strictly for the OS and any OS software..

Here's a Windows question: Is Media Center 2005 built on an XP Home platform, or XP Pro?
