Heck Yeah, Goodburger! :^) I even enjoyed the Nickelodeon Variety show that spawned it, All That. :^)

I would also like to posit that just because the prequels weren't as good as the OT, it does not make them bad. I'll take a Lucas Prequel over 90 percent of the movies put out every month. Yes, even Episode 1. :^)

Don't scare me like that! I just had a flashback!.

....the sand is so course, I like the water.

Back to the topic at hand: while the story (and most of the acting) in Ultraviolet made my brain start to hang itself, the fight scenes were amazing stuff, and I really liked the use of color (as they should be, since the Equilibrium guy made it. Too bad he couldn't capture the other good parts of that movie and bring it into Ultraviolet as well). If I were ever to find this DVD for five bucks or less at my local store, I'd definitely consider picking it up.

The interesting thing about Ultraviolet was that it is another one of "those" movies that the studio took it out of the director's hands in the editing phase. They took like 30 min out if I remember correctly.

Ill post my movies when its not 3:20 am

I like all THREE Ninja Turtles live action movies. I also enjoy the Hulk Hogan comedy, Suburban Commando.

I kinda liked the second one, and haven't seen the third, but the first is one of my all-time favorite movies. I almost did backflips when my dad first brought it home on VHS! That was the same year that I got all TMNT stuff for my birthday, and correctly guessed every single present before opening it! And I didn't even cheat! I had no idea what I would get for my birthday, but I knew it would be TMNT related. And I can safely say "May God strike me dead with a lightning bolt if I am lying!"

Suburban Commando RULES!!! Heck, even Mr. Nanny is something of a guilty pleasure.

Okay, now I'm going to say this and this is going to be controversial, but Napoleon Dynamite.  I saw it the first weekend it came out in limited release and my friends and I thought it was hilarious.  It was different and small and just an innocuous funny movie.  Of course two months later it had literally taken over the entire country and everyone was quoting it and that's when the hate started setting in.  But when you look past the countless frat boy dumbasses yelling "IDIOT!" every five minutes,  it's not bad at all.

I. LOVE. NAPOLEON. DYNAMITE.

Freakin' HILARIOUS movie!!!

I remember being disappointed in TMNT 3 when I saw it, but I haven't watched it since.  It took a lot for me to not like something Turtles related though.  First movie was awesome, second one was fun.

I've several times had to convince people to give They Live a chance.  Love that movie.  It might be because the first half of it you're impressed as hell that Roddy Piper can play a somewhat subdued and quiet character and in the last half you get to see Roddy Piper be Roddy Piper.

I'm pretty much disposed to liking all chick flicks... It's a terrible weakness, but I really do love Notting Hill.

Yeah, I'm sort of ashamed to admit that I liked Bridget Jones' Diary

Bridget Jones's Diary is one of my favorite movies.  While You Were Sleeping is another one.  Oh and I love Beaches.

Fear and The Crush are movies I've talked to death, but I genuinely love them and everything about them.

I somehow feel closer to all of you.  Group hug then?

Carpenter is pretty much my favourite director, hence my defense of this thread.

Pretty much everything I've seen of his that hasn't involved William Shatner masks...I've enjoyed.

Oh, and Dragonslayer.
Ok, you're on your own there.  :P

???  You know he's not talking about Dragonheart but Dragonslayer?

I'm sorry. I'm just floored that someone who can appreciate The Last Starfighter for what it is doesn't like that film, too.

Thank you for making my point while I wasn't here.

And for those of you who would say (and, mind you, I'm not making a serious comparsion between these films) that it doesn't matter what footage is missing, the film as it is now sucks....one could have said the same thing about Fritz Lang's Metropolis for all those years.

I like the parts of Ultraviolet that I've seen (no, I haven't been thinking iRiffs....no, not at all  ;)).  And I wish they'd put out the complete film so we can judge.

I've seen it one, on tv, it didn't really leave an impression  :-\

I like all THREE Ninja Turtles live action movies. I also enjoy the Hulk Hogan comedy, Suburban Commando. Gremlins 2 was awesome. It was a beautifully self aware movie. Ghost Rider was a lot of fun as well. There's a feeling in all the above movies like the director was thinking, "OK. This isn't going according to plan, I don't have the budget I need, and the movie's caving in all around me. Let's just make a silly movie!" I love those movies that decide, "Well if it's not going to be good, at least it's going to be fun!"

I would also like to posit that just because the prequels weren't as good as the OT, it does not make them bad. I'll take a Lucas Prequel over 90 percent of the movies put out every month. Yes, even Episode 1. :^)

I saw all three Ninja Turtles when they were out in theatres.  I loved them all.  And I loved them just as much when  my step-daughter discovered the Ninja Turtles and I got to watch them all over again.

I love While You Were Sleeping.  Me and my sister laugh our collective heart balls off whenever we watch that.

Also last night I was flipping back and forth between the GOP and Terms of Endearment on TCM.  And it was just as awesomely bad as I remember it.  Goddamn cancer!!! Damn you to hell for taking our Debra Winger!
I'm all out for kicks...and every inch of me spells EXCITEMENT!

It was pan and scan then?  Then you haven't seen it properly.

Tripe

Well be that as it may, I'm not saying it's bad or good, I'm saying I have no opinion one way or the other :)

Axnollouse

Ok time for mine:

Charlie's Angels: I love the first one, it's a happy fun times movie! The sequel stole peoples souls tho!

Death Sentence: Great DTV in my personal opinion. It's Kevin Bacon as Charles Bronson! It's good until towards the end when it gets super silly after being serious for a while.

Hulk (ang lee): I found it to be a movie a bit full of itself but in the end I enjoyed it for being a comic book movie that didn't feel that it HAD to be a comic book movie.

Disturbia . . . . wait why is there a van pulling up to my house

*walks away from computer*

Get out of my house . . mmugh

*van pulls away*

Relaxing Dragon

I think I said it in another thread, but I'll repeat it here: Scary Movie 3. The first 2 I thought were alright (with some hilarious moments here and there), but nothing I'd buy or anything. And 4 kinda sucked (just kinda, not outright bad). But 3, I loved that one. Every time I watch it I still laugh my ass off, no doubt.
