I know my favorite movie has always been "Amy Winehouse."

Well, I think it's clear that they just don't care.

Well, if nothing else, this one is appropriately named.

No, "appropriately named" would be This Movie Is A Disaster or Disastrous Movie or A Big, Stinking Piece of Shit.
This iRiff will only be on sale for another few hours. Get it while it's cheap!

I think I'd much rather deal with the Knocked Off knock-off.

Have these two ever watched one of their own movies?

They can't. It's the only thing that can permanently destroy them. You defeat a cocktrice or basilisk by holding a mirror up to it so it's killed by its own Death Gaze, and you "kill" the creators of the Bloated Parody Movie franchise by forcing them to watch there own films. (It's a lot easeir because they don't have eyelids). Then every person who's name was listed in the credits (because the creators are the only people involved in the "production" of the "movies", the credits serve only as a vehicle for cinematic voodoo curse) will awaken from the evil enchantment, and balance shall be restored to the force.

Okay. I'm not normally a violent man, but, that movie poster said "Your FAVORITE movies."

You DARE to imply that fecal-eating CGI Alvin and the Chipmunks is one of favorite movies?

I demand satisfaction!

...but I don't have enough holy symbols and protective amulets to slay the Spawners of Epic Movie And Its Ilk. So I'll have  to settle with challenging the poster to a duel to the death.

*rips poster in half*

I AM VICTORIOUS! >_<

Note to Aaron Seltzer and Jason Friedberg:

Spoofs are not refilmed scenes from popular movies with fart jokes and people being hit by large objects.

Spoofs do not have bad celebrity impersonators acting like Amy Winehouse.

Spoofs do not have a mass of horrible pop culture jokes that will have been outdated by the time the movie comes out.

Spoofs do not include Bill O'Reilly in a cameo as himself.

Ugh. An American Carol looks absolutely terrible. What the hell happened to David Zucker? He used to make movies that were actually funny. Like Airplane! Or the Naked Gun.

Even without the revisionist politics involved, this would still be a terrible idea. Whatever happened to subtlety?

Politically, he's been this way for decades.  My Ex knows him through the Alamo Society.

Movie-wise he's been good....because he kept these things seperate.

What I can't figure out is - considering the current politcal attitudes and that a spoof of Michael Moore after all this time is sooooooo out of date - why do this movie now?

Maybe he is sick of anti-americanism in the press and on TV and such and wanted to make a movie as his way of saying look we are not always right but we are still a great country...
