Have these two ever watched one of their own movies?

They probably just cash their checks and buy more coke.

How is it even possible that the trailer was even worse than I'd ever imagined?  Jesus.

And/Or footage that won't make it into the movie until the DVD....

Maybe an homage to the cow in Twister?

I don't know, I'm still trying to wrap my brain around the inclusion of Miley Cyrus.

Makes as much sense as Paris Hilton in the Epic Movie trailer.

Boy, you have horrible luck when it comes to what trailers you get. :P

It's not luck; when you see crappy trailers in front of a movie, 90+% of the time someone DID that to you. The copies of Get Smart at my theatres DO NOT have Disaster Movie in front of it, per my instructions (despite the fact the trailer was included in all our prints).

Best not to give anything you've just witnessed too much thought...just nod and move on.

At least that was short.  And somewhat in-character.  I guess.  Not that there was much character to give, really, BUT ANYWAY.  I don't claim to know anything about Miley, but of all the things to joke about, why joke about the fact that she's moderately successful?

If we ask all the "why" questions these assmuchers pose, we'll be asking things forever and we'll all explode and turn into sad puddles.  And they'll still have a million dollars.

I'm sometimes quite pro-murder.

That trailer made me want to murder as well.

And no doubt, there would be some mouth-breathers going "HAW HAW" during that trailer.

Dim of the Yard

I'm almost wondering if certain mouthbreathers are more entertaining than the movie, itself.  You know the kind.  Those who will not just laugh, but will explain the joke while they're laughing.  "HAW HAW HAW, IRON MAN GOT FLATTENED BY A COW!"  "HAW HAW HAW, HANNAH MONTANA'S NOT REALLY THAT OLD!"  "HAW HAW HAW, THE UNBORN BABY JUST KICKED HER IN THE FACE!"

If I were masochistic, I'd like to experiment.  I'd skip into this movie and pretend to be a mouthbreather, just to laugh at the jokes for all the wrong reasons.  I wouldn't do it, obviously, because not only would I risk actually seeing this movie, but I might actually have to contend with people who are enjoying this movie for real.  I know they exist.  I had friends (key word: HAD) who planned their weekend around seeing Epic Movie.  Besides, I need to stop talking out loud in theaters.  That's just rude.  But anyway, I'd be a sarcastic mouthbreather.

"HAW HAW HAW, THAT'S NOT A DISASTER MOVIE!"  "HAW HAW HAW, EVERY TIME THEY SPOOF A COMEDY, THEY REMIND ME THAT I COULD BE WATCHING SOMETHING MORE WORTH MY TIME!"  "HAW HAW HAW, MOCKING THE CAREER OF A 15 YEAR OLD GIRL WHO'S MORE SUCCESSFUL THAN THEY ARE, IS HYSTERICAL!"  "HAW HAW HAW, EVERYBODY AND THEIR MOTHERS MADE THAT JOKE WHEN THAT SERIES CAME OUT!"  "HAW HAW HAW, THIS ISN'T ANY DIFFERENT FROM THE MOVIE THEY TOOK IT FROM!  IT'S JUST REALLY POORLY ACTED!"

I wouldn't last too long.  I'd either lose my voice or get kicked out.  Not really worth $10.00, plus the price of gas.  I'll save it for when the movie hits HBO or something.

GLaDOS

Oh Jesus... that trailer. Somebody... please, please kill me now.

Oh, I get it, because it looks like a sex ed tape!  Ahahahahaha!  (  :grr: )

Well, one thing about this movie that none of the others had was the ability to get the Galaxy Song stuck in my head.

Well I think specifically it's referencing one of the Knocked Up Posters.

Oh.  I stand corrected, then.

Never saw the movie, and still have Galaxy Song stuck in my head, though.

This is the one I was referring to.
