Nothing complicated, just something that might be fun. Feel free to give an entire list, name a single movie, or quote others from the thread.

So in your own opinion, what are the worst films of the decade (2000-present)?

My list would have to be as follows.
2000 - nothing comes to mind at the moment.
2001 - Battlefield Earth - enough said
2002 - Phone Booth - Where's a Futurama suicide booth when you need one  :D
2003 - Daredevil - The super hero gets his ass kicked and  ... spoiler assumed...lets his girlfriend die
2004 - Ocean's 12 - The infamous, cringe inducing, most poorly written scene in Hollywood history that shall hereto be known only as 'the Julia Roberts scene' .
2005 - BloodRayne - Uwe Boll's worst film (to date).
2006 - Date Movie -  sucks at life.
2007 - Rescue Dawn - Not only does it sound like That Movie... its far worse.
2008 - Ugh, nothing comes to mind yet.

I disagree with you on Rescue Dawn.  I thought that was one of Werner Herzog's more coherent films that isn't a documentary.  Plus Christian Bale is very watchable, he's turning into one of the better actors of his generations even in flawed works like this.  He's always doing something interesting even if the rest of the movie isn't.

*edit* I forgot to add what I think is the worst movie of the decade.  The one that always comes to mind is The Lady in the Water.  Scrunt.  Seriously.  Scrunt.
I'm all out for kicks...and every inch of me spells EXCITEMENT!

Minnesota knows my feelings on Rescue Dawn. (they are more in line with Pretty Girl's)

Def agree about daredevil, though. In fact, how about everything that had colin ferrell in it.

I can only assume the omission of In the Name of the King is only because nobody here has seen it. :^)

I've seen it. Hell, I own it. And I've seen worse. Much worse.

i think he's steadily improving as a director.  He only makes awful films now, rather than total abominations.  :)

Well no wonder i've never heard of it. Seeing the trailer probably caused me so much trauma I blocked it out of my mind completely.

The fucking Happening. Seriously, they're gonna be teaching this thing in film classes in ten years; it is such a cinematic air-ball.

Yeah, even though Rescue Dawn had its problems, Christian Bale's performance, Steve Zahn's performance, and that crazy guy from Lost held the movie together. And I enjoyed it.

I hated Next...what a horrible movie.
