Nothing complicated, just something that might be fun. Feel free to give an entire list, name a single movie, or quote others from the thread.

So in your own opinion, what are the worst films of the decade (2000-present)?

My list would have to be as follows.
2000 - nothing comes to mind at the moment.
2001 - Battlefield Earth - enough said
2002 - Phone Booth - Where's a Futurama suicide booth when you need one  :D
2003 - Daredevil - The super hero gets his ass kicked and  ... spoiler assumed...lets his girlfriend die
2004 - Ocean's 12 - The infamous, cringe inducing, most poorly written scene in Hollywood history that shall hereto be known only as 'the Julia Roberts scene' .
2005 - BloodRayne - Uwe Boll's worst film (to date).
2006 - Date Movie -  sucks at life.
2007 - Rescue Dawn - Not only does it sound like That Movie... its far worse.
2008 - Ugh, nothing comes to mind yet.

I believe Battlefield Earth was a 2000 release, not 2001. (Yep, just confirmed it on IMDb's Bottom 100.)

The good news is, now you can think of a worst movie for 2000.

Based on my imdb votes:

2000 - Battlefield Earth
2001 - Black Knight
2002 - Feardotcom
2003 - House of the Dead
2004 - Catwoman
2005 - Alone in the Dark
2006 - Wicker Man
2007 - Bratz
2008 - Prom Night

I'm only including mainstream theatrical releases here, but I think this selection holds up pretty well at any rate.

Cool, thanks for the tip. For 2001, I'll go with Mimic 2.

Uwe Boll, can't go wrong there
;D

... I actually kinda liked Black Knight, but then again I grew up watching Martin.

The Black Dahlia.  Ugh.  Even thinking about it makes me want to strangle someone.

100 percent agree with Little Miss Sunshine. What an overrated pile of $#%.

Kinda funny that both the other movies just mentioned are on my long list of 'rainy day' movies. Day of the Dead (remake) is a Netflix 'watch now' so its hard to turn down "free". Also, for several months now I've owned Black Dahlia but haven't found time (or desire ;D) to watch it.

Courtney

It's fucking terrible.  Seriously, watch it just to see how ridiculously bad it is.  The end... I... it rendered me speechless from its complete stupidity.  Holy shit.  I'm having Nam-esque flashbacks even attempting to describe it.

Nick

Everything Sci-Fi Channel "Original" movie made to date deserves to be on this list.
Killing me won't bring back your Goddamned honey!

GLaDOS

My list is based on more "mainstream" movies.

2000 - Battlefield earth/Mission to Mars/The Next Best thing/Blair witch 2
2001 - Freddy Got fingered/Glitter/Thirteen ghosts/Planet of the apes
2002 - Nine lives/Ghost Ship/Crossroads/Attack of the Clones/The Country Bears
2003 - House of the dead/Gigli/Charlie's Angels: Full throttle/From Justin to Kelly/Kangaroo Jack
2004 - Baby Geniuses 2/You got served/Catwoman/Surviving christmas/New York Minute
2005 - Son of the Mask/The Dukes of Hazard/Deuce Bigalow/Bewitched
2006 - Crossover/Basic Instinct 2/Bloodrayne/The wicker man/Little man
2007 - Daddy Day Camp/Who's your caddy?/Epic movie/Norbit/Bratz
2008 - Love Guru/Meet the spartans/Witless Protection

Doktor Sleepless

Round about now! Since they say! I am the sexiest man in Jamaica!

Being a genocidal maniac is not one of my turn ons.

Is it weird to hear the Safety Dance in my head watching Game of Thrones?

Pak-Man

I can only assume the omission of In the Name of the King is only because nobody here has seen it. :^)

I'm willing to say that choosing any Uwe Boll movie would be like shooting fish in a barrel, henceforth the omission.

That will also acount for the absence of The Hottie and the Nottie.
