OK now you gravely voiced sweetheart, let's have a few more suggestions from you for Jacob :)

Dr. Mrs. The Monarch

Roman Holiday and Breakfast at Tiffany's, North by Northwest, Rear Window, Vertigo....off the top of my head

Oh and I think you need to drink a Red Bull and watch Princess Bride.  Fortis, that goes for you too.  WATCH AND LOVE.

Wait, they haven't seen The Princess Bride?!?
I agree with Courtney, WATCH AND LOVE

Jacob said he fell asleep during it, Fortis said the other day in a thread that he thought it was poorly made, so I was just kind of ribbing him.  BUT SERIOUSLY WATCH AGAIN AND LOVE.

Just ignore the crappy pro and epilogue...   :)

DIe Hard was on AMC last night. That is a great movie. let me get back to you on this.

Tripe

Fair Enough, you've got till 7pm EST :)

Compound

Hmm. Let me suggest some horror films for Jacob.

Dracula (Universal)
Dracula (Coppala) (Just to contrast to the Universal version. Plus it's very well filmed, even if the acting is a bit off.)
The Thing (Carpenter)
Alien
The Exorcist
Psycho
Jaws
The Ring (for the current Japanese influence on horror)
A Nightmare on Elm Street
The Shining

Toss in Invasion of the Body Snatchers if I duplicated something here. Or The Omen.

While some of these are a bit... suspect... quality wise these are good representations of the better regarded horror films over the past 75 years and give you familiarity with the genre as a whole.

Alright, er I mean, as you wish...I'll watch it tonight. And I will come back and post my thoughts. But instead of Red Bull, I think I'm going to go for a mountain dew.

Tripe

If you're doing the dew, make it this one:

I've never actually had an energy drink because Mountain Dew has always been the perfect amount of caffeine for me. And because I've heard too many times that energy drinks are gross. So I ask you now Tripe...are those any good?

Tripe

Oh hell no, but they are pure unadulterated caffeine rush.

Actually with a shot of absinthe they're alright.

Meh, see, I'm not one for a lot of caffeine, Mountain Dew is plenty for me, and I refuse to drink anything that doesn't taste good to me.
