My favourite RiffTrax so far. Twice I was laughing so hard and so long I had to go back to hear what I was missing. And plenty of regular laugh out loud moments along the way.

Raven

A lot of singing in this one,  and that's not a bad thing.  I'm so glad I didn't watch it unriffed first.

Darth Geek

If the Water Demon didn't want Grendel fighting his father, why was it fine with her for the dragon to fight Beowulf?

I loved hearing the guys sing in harmony-- always welcome.

The movie, though?  Holy crap, the gore... it was awful.  We almost shut it off.  We had no idea it would be so gross.  Only the riffing kept us going.

Fuzzy Necromancer

Well, the source material is pretty gorey too. Blood-drenched halls, crunching of bones, and some big nasty getting his arm ripped off? What'd yah expect?
Love doesn't hurt. It kills.

Believe me, as an English major, I wasn't expecting a garden party.  But there are ways to communicate enormous violence without showing it so graphically.

This was good, solid riffing on a mediocre movie. I'm hard pressed to quote any specific lines because most of them are hilarious. Definate 9 out of 10.

9 out of 10 from me too. And ditto on everything else Tyrant says above. I thought this was a great riffing choice. Very enjoyable.

I finally got around to watching this one.  I thought it was pretty terrific, with hilarious moments from all of the guys.  I don't mind the movie though, so I was able to partly enjoy that, too.

RoninFox

For some reason, this riff never comes to mind first when I'm in the mood to watch something.  It's only when I'm looking through my shelf and spot it that I remember it's greatness and put it in.

Wow, I had no idea anyone could make Robert Zemeckis sound edgy.

I really aggressively hate this movie.  Beowulf is an utter cock-gobbler in this, and couldn't have been more miscast if they'd gotten John Gielgud to play him.

I remember thinking that the film looked impressive in certain places - mostly the set-pieces - but otherwise it was a soulless experience.
