I guess this whole "Rifftrax Presents" thing is branching out in more ways than i originally thought.

That's the idea :)

I would also let you know that the Parental Advisory isn't "just" for the movie ;)

Also I updated the release dates for the next Trek release and the House of Wax riff. The 28th, so says the big boss.

I don't like this movie, but Rifftrax Presents seems like a really good way to expand their catalog beyond "Popular and on the shelf" without giving up their higher-margin releases.  Well done, guys.
I thought I was Dale.

Good thing this is audio only.  I would be very worried that you were implying full frontal Murphy and Corbett.   :speechless:

Does this mean that the Red Dawn riff that is coming is going to be a solo riff?

I think it will be.  Mike implied as much with Courtney's interview.

Not sure about that.

1)War
2)Death Sentence
3)I, Robot
4)Hellboy
5)Saw
6)Donnie Darko
7)TMNT
8)Queen of the Damned
9)Alien vs Predator: Requiem (do these have to be movies that are already on DVD, or can they be ones that will be out this year?)
10)Resident Evil

(I don't hate these films with a fiery passion, nor do I want them riffed because they are bad, I want them riffed because they are fun, and probably easy to do)

keep 'em coming  ;D

Nevermind. Answered my own question. From Amazon:

QuoteThe Uncut Edition differs only slightly from the theatrical release; it reinserts a little more gore that was cut to get an R rating and tightens up the editing (the uncut version is actually a teensy bit shorter than the theatrical release).

So, like 15 seconds difference in the two. Arrgh.

The UNcut version is shorter?  ??? I knew I was bad at math, but sheesh.

I'm not really getting the difference between RiffTrax and RiffTrax Presents either, but I'm no better at "branding" than I am at math. My eyes glaze over every time the bosses at the office start going on about it.

Gojikranz, since you asked the winning question, you get a free track! Please email us at support@rifftrax.com with the email address you use for your RiffTrax purchases and we'll add some credit to your account. Congrats!

Damn, I was that close.

Should be a great one.  For some reason every time I thought of a potential riff like this I saw Bill and Kevin participating but not Mike.  Guess I was right.  Looking forward to it.

That one's easy.  Rifftrax releases have Mike.  Rifftrax Presents releases don't.  So far, anyway.

That occurred to me, but as you say, "so far." They haven't really been marketed as "RiffTrax without Mike" as far as I can see, so I'm not sure if that was supposed to be the big difference. Unless I'm overthinking the whole thing, which is all too likely. :)

(jaw drops)  This looks like it should make a very interesting RiffTrax.

And I totally want a chainsaw that says "Don't Worry, Be Happy" on the chain-y-sawing bit.

They shot down my original poster concept.   :-\

That's good and all but the question remains: What will GregMCDuck think?   :)

to be honest, I never thought of Saw as a horror film, more like a Drama (the first one at least)
