an odd pairing ... Office Space is a nice little comedy (hard to hate anything Gary Cole does) but treads well-worn ground.  Pulp Fiction is a true original that rewards repeat viewings and spawned a litany of copycats.  Pulp Fiction easily.

So what does hating "Tarantino" have to do with anything? I hate King of the Hill, but I'm not voting against Office Space because of that. Why should Samuel L. Jackson and Bruce Willis have to take people's hatred for "Tarantino"?

Besides, his mom put up the Blues Brothers band once. She's very nice. (In joke.)

The font you're typing in right now is grotesque, but I don't see you hating that.

Well, what was formerly a very tough decision between two great movies that I love has now turned into a really easy decision. I'm voting for Pulp Fiction to spite the Tarantino-haters. Screw you all, he's one of the best directors working today. :)

I don't hate Tarantino, I just feel that Kathy Griffin is equal to a negative Bruce Willis

argumentum ad populem doesn't hold water in defending your silly statement dear heart   ;)

Petey Wheatstraw

The people who post on this forum and have voted in this thread don't listen to Britney Spears. And I don't think you'll find even one person who enjoys both Britney Spears albums and Tarantino films. Plus, that skank hasn't been popular since...when was the last time anybody remembered who the hell Fred Durst is?

And as far as Wal-Mart goes, what did they do to you, personally? If you don't like them, don't shop there. But consider this: do you have any real reason to hate them, other than extreme elitism? Do YOU work 70 hours a week or more to feed your starving family?

Sigh rhetoric isn't your strong suit is it? Imrahil was simply expanding upon my point about argumentum ad populem, possibly because you might be unfamiliar with the term.

Ah and there's that misuse of "elite" again. Deary deary me :)

Really babycakes you need to chill a little about things like this, there's a love. ;)

How about the argument involves discussing the merits (or lack of) of the films, rather than devolve into baseless insults?

For me, I haven't seen Office Space in a little while, so I'll have to see it again before I decide.  It's going to have to be pretty good to beat Pulp Fiction though...

Yeah I had some yogurt, actually I was going to have tacos tonight but we went out to dinner on Saturday instead of having a stir fry at home so it pushed all the meals out a day.

I agree. The only person I've insulted could never figure out how to use a computer, much less view this website. ;D

You don't mean "yoghurt"? :)  You have your meals planned in advance?

Is that one of those Atlantic divide things? :)

Yep, though I was thinking of signing up with a CAS to introduce a little randomness into the meal planning.

Isaac...the People also like Britney Spears and Wal-Mart.  Really well-thought-out argument.

So, is there more than one person who legitimately believes that the people who voted for Pulp Fiction are also Britney Spears fans, or am I the only one who thinks that this comment doesn't make any sense?
