4. El Topo

Interesting choice... you a Jodorowsky fan? Why not 'The Holy Mountain' to go with the Passion Riff (#5)?  Hahaha...

5. Passion of the Christ

Of course... will never happen.

Not really, saw El Topo at a festival and although I think I enjoyed it I don't ever imagine a situation where I'd watch it again.  Didn't pick it for the same reason I replaced 'Left Behind' with 'The Gate' and why I assume you said Potc would never be done, although I would find it hilarious and Kevin especially would be awesome we all know Mike's beliefs and seem sure he wouldn't do something like that.

10) Krull
9)  Superman III
8)  Superman IV
7)  Lost in Space
6)  DOOM
5) Star Trek ... The Motion Picture (they'd never make it through this one.)
4)  A Boy and his Dog
3)  The Sum of all Fears
2)  Mortal Kombat: Annihilation (The Sequel)
1) Rikko-O "The Story of Rikki" (The worst, yet bloodiest and most entertaining kung-fu movie ever)
even better - Superman Returns!  I can only imagine how many deadbeat dad / stalker riffs could be made.  Add the fact that Kate Bosworth physically looks like a 14/15 year old, having had a child by Superman...(shudder).

CHF01

1. Nothing But Trouble
2. Devil Girl from Mars
3. The Haunting (remake)
4. Ishtar
5. I Heart Hucklebees
6. Larry The Cable Guy - Health Inspector
7. 3:10 To Yuma
8. High School Musical
9. Armageddon
10. Godzilla

My Top Ten:
1. Da Vinci Code - inaccurate, full of holes, and easily riffed
2, 3, 4. Star Wars (Original Trilogy) - ugh.  cinematic disaster.  Preferably the very originals for the crappy fx, but the CG'ed versions work too, especially for editing out old Vader
5. Bloodrayne - the guy from Species sounded like he read the script a few minutes before each scene.
6. Catwoman - I can't watch this movie.  No one can make me, other than Mike, Kevin, and Bill
7. Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever - never interested in watching it.  Perhaps Rifftrax can save it.
8. Gigli
9. The Golden Compass
10. The Island (2005)

Perhaps sometime later: Solaris, Waterworld, Wing Commander, War of the Worlds (Tom Cruise version), ET: The Extra-Terrestrial, Twister, Jurassic Park 2/3, Minority Report, Footloose.

James

The Da Vinci Code Riffed by Mike & Father Guido Sarducci!!!    Hahaha... Now THAT would be good!

Rattrap007

Ok it has been a while since my list, and about 4 or so were riffed, so I'm going to revise it and remove some and add some:

(in no particular order)
1. The Island - Michael Bay does Clonus! Need I say more
2. Godzilla - Matthew Broderick version.
3. Planet of the Apes - The new one not the classic. A poo-fling-a-palooza-extravaganza of a riff.
4. Armageddon - do I really need to say anything?
5. The Mist - I need a reason to pick this up.
6. Hulk - long dull movie needs to be spiced up with a riff
7. Jaws: The Revenge - This cine-turd needs to be riffed.
8. The ring - We got the Grudge, now we need the Ring
9. More LOTR films.. Also the Last Matrix film.
10. War of the Worlds - Tom Cruise edition

Others I'd Like to see:
- League of Extraordinary Gentlemen
- Wild Wild West
- The Warriors (Riiiiiiiiffffffeeeeerrs.. come out and plaaaaayyyaaayy)
- King Kong Remake
- Face Off
- The Village
- Waterworld (a movie this bad deserves it)

1. Uwe Boll's House of the Dead
#35 on the imdb's worst film of all time list. A cinematic train wreck that is just begging for it to happen. With Clint Howard, the guy from Das Boot, Conquistador Zombies, and stock footage straight out of a video game, how can you go wrong?
Really, any Uwe Boll film would be equally applicable for a nomination.

2. Cool As Ice
Vanilla Ice acting. Need I say more?

3. Rat Pfink a Boo Boo
Forty minutes into a zero budget straight-faced crime drama, the star of the movie steps into the closet with a previously minor character and they emerge costumed as "Rat Pfink" and "Boo Boo", superhero rockstars who sing, fight crime, do battle with a gorilla, and have a beach party. Truly a cult classic for the ages.

4. Battlestar Galactica "Crossroads - Part 1 & 2"
Heroes & Lost got riffed, so there is a tv precedent. I do love the show, but with a bunch of guys in space brainwashed by a Bob Dylan song, it seems like the guys could have some fun with it.

5. MVP - Most Valuable Primate
Monkeys playing sports. Seems like worthy fodder.

6. Dune - Unrated Extended Version
A three hour plus pretentious sci fi mess that's about as interesting as a fictitious history lesson.

7. Blacula
He's black. He's beautiful. He's Blacula. 'nuff said.

8. Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie
With guest Riffers Kevin Murphy & Trace Beaulieu... For the sheer bizarreness of a riff on a riff, that seems like potential comedy gold.

9. Citizen Kane
The greatest film ever made. Seems prime for the riifftrax crew to knock it down off its high horse.

10. Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter
Jesus + El Santo + a lesbian bounty hunter vs the undead.

Honorable mentions:
Armageddon
Gigli
Godzilla (US Version)
Street Fighter (Van Damme version)
Masters of the Universe (Dolph Lungren)
Blair Witch Project
2 Fast 2 Furious
Dukes of Hazard
Death Proof
Deep Blue Sea
Hulk (the Eric Bana one)
2001: A Space Odyssey

Another idea that I had was for the guys to release a riff for a film still in theaters. Something you could put on your ipod and listen to while watching a theatrical film.

magnoliafan

Oh, and how can I forget the theatrical version of Highlander II?
Highlander: The Source, deserves the treatment as well.

What? Doing something like that could create a paradox and tear a hole in the space time continuum. And I don't know about you but I don't have 1.21 gigawatts of electricity to spare in order to correct the problem.

In no particular order...
1. Tremors
2. Cannon Ball Run
3. Starship Troopers
4. Tron
5. The X-Files: Fight the Future
6. The Core
7. Volcano
8. Daylight
9. The Terminal
10. Die Hard
"A woman walks into a bar and orders a Double Entendre... so the bartender gives her one."

beavobeave

My ten, in no paticular order:

10: Saw II
In my mind, the worst of the 4
9:  Total Recall
Arnolds in it
8: Smokin' Aces
Just plain bad
7:  Shoot 'em Up
Sensless action movie, not really any point to it.
6:  Star Trek: The motion Picture
worst of the 10 Star Trek films (In my mind)
5:  Star Trek:  Nemesis
2nd worst of the 10 films
4:  The Time Machine (The 2002 remake)
3:  Kill Bill vol. 1
I liked this movie, but i'd like to see it riffed too
2:  Virus
A straight to DVD feature staring Jamie Lee Curtis, and believe me, it was awful
1: Venomus
Also a bad straight to DVD feature

I'd love to see a Fight Club riff, just to see what Mike and Co. would do with it.

"I want you to Riff me as hard as you can."
"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere.
Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen."

First let me say, I may be new here but it is fun to read these.  Keep up the good work.

Now there are a ton of crappy films out there, so I will take a crack at it (in no specific order):

League of Extraordinary Gentlemen - Get Alan Moore to riff on this, that would be gold.  But a movie so bad the it literally made the source material run and hide.

Wild Wild West - What easily could have been a decent flick just ended up as a terrible buddy comedy based on a TV show.

Waterworld - A movie so bad, that even people who weren't funny (like Letterman and Leno at that time) were getting huge laughs making fun of it.

The Avengers - Wow, what can be said that hasn't been said already.  An excellent British show, butchered by Hollywood and then put into a blender and served as protein shakes to the stars.

THX 1138 - An interesting film by pre-Star Wars George Lucas, but with silent passages galore and animated monkeys, this one was a prime target.

There Will Be Blood - Yes not a crappy film by any means (in fact probably going to go down as one of the best ever), but there are so many of those over the top moments and the fact oil looks like poo...it seemed like a good idea.

Ransom - Given Mel Gibson's latest behavior, this one seemed like a good choice.  Oddly enough I suggested this earlier and I actually did my own riff to the film...although there were a lot of Jew jokes.

Jack - Easily one of the dumbest Robin Williams movies ever made...followed by FFC (Francis Ford Coppola) directing.  Seriously, Robin Williams in leather Airwalks circa 1996?  This one seemed like a no brainer.

Con Air - A good popcorn flick for sure, but with Nic Cage and his lame accent, John Cusack looking for a pay check and John Malkovich being uber creepy (and not on purpose)...add that with Las Vegas and you got your self a totally riffable movie.

KISS Meets The Phantom Of The Park - Having grown up with my uncle being a huge Kiss fan (and my brother and a few cousins), this has got to be the single worst movie idea ever by someone with movie and a yes man.  The acting is terrible, the directing is all over the place (literally!) and the FX are the cheesiest since day time soap operas.  If this movie can't be riffed then none can.

8 Mile - Eminem + Movie about his life + Mekhi Phifer in a deadlock wig = Riffing gold

And finally I second the following films:

Fight Club
Clue
Doom
Bloodrayne (Or for that matter any Uwe Boll film)
The Island
Godzilla (1998)
Planet Of The Apes (That Tim Burton abortion)
Cool As Ice
Street Fighter
Snakes On A Plane
Texas Chainsaw (Original)
Master of The Universe
Flash Gordon
Any movie about dancing
Stand and Deliver (Although South Park did that)

Thanks for reading.

10:   Alexander (Director's Cut):  I picked up this "faster-paced" sleeping pill from the bargain bin, and now I need a reason to not chuck it in the rubbish bin.

9:  Napolean Dynamite:  My father thinks this is the dumbest movie ever made.  I disagree.  Either way, I think a RiffTrax  on this film would be great.

8,7:  Tomb Raider and Tomb Raider II:  The only way I could justify buying these films was by getting the German versions so  that I could watch the German dub for "listening practice."  Having a RiffTrax to listen to would give me another good  reason to watch these movies again.

6,5,4:  Resident Evil, Resident Evil Apocalypse, Resident Evil Extinction:  Whether people loved or hated these movies, I think there's plenty for RiffTrax to work with.

3,2,1:  Evil Dead, Evil Dead II, and Army of Darkness:  What could be more fun than watching Bruce Campbell scream like an idiot?  How about riffing on Bruce Campbell while he screams like an idiot?  In fact, he might even make a great guest riffer,  as he's great at mocking his own performances in the film commentaries.

Had to add two more movies:

3 Ninjas: High Noon at Mega Mountain
Suburban Commando

These two are Hulk Hogan movies, they are so bad it makes Batman & Robin look like Citizen Kane.

Good call with Suburban Commando.  The Undertaker is also in it as one of the villains with the high pitched voice that says "you're a dead man Ramsey!".  That movie was fun for me to watch as a kid but now, it's profoundly dumb.
A spell was cast and the sky turned red.  The Angel's heart froze to ice.  Roses of blood from an innocent soul.  On the plain lies an Angel dead.

Totally forgot about that one!  Yup these would be good choices.

There is one other god awful movie with a wrestler...can't recall the name of it though (and it is none of the recent WWE ones).

Oh just remembered, Ready to Rumble!
