New to boards. Here's my Top Ten I would pay to see riffed:

1) Ever After
2) Streets of Fire (Michael Pare and Wilem DeFoe (in a garbage bag))
3) A Fistfull of Dollars
4) Cool World (Brad Pitt cartoon)
5) Holes
6) Phantasm
7) Crimson Tide
8  The Lord of the Rings -any of the cartoon 70's version)
9) Signs or The Village or The Six Sense
10) Free Jack (Emilio Estevez, Mick Jagger, Anthony Hopkins)

Numbers 4, 6, 8, and 10 are to get revenge of actually paying to see those films in the theater.

1) Mac and Me....you know, that E.T rip off made by our friends the McDonalds corporation. Please....the dance scene in the McDonalds is too classic.
2) Labyrinth. I already own 3 DVDs of this (different versions)...I'd buy Rifftrax 4th!
3) Pride and Prejudice (the one with Keira Knightly) being a girl, I love this movie, but at the same time I had fun myself riffing it the first time I saw it
4) the Rankin Bass version of the Hobbit.....the greeeaaaatest adventure is what lieeees ahead (as the person above stated)
5) the Breakfast Club. Already an awesome movie. Now it needs an awesome commentary (I mean, come on...)
6) WarGames
7) the Point! Nelsson would be proud, I promise!
8) Jumper...only if they made sure to point out Morning Musume in the Japanese scenes. Okay, they don't know who they are either.
9) the Sound of Music
10)Resident Evil

Lazlo

Movies I'd want riffed (in no order):

National Treasure: Book of Secrets
Enchanted
Click
The Day After Tomorrow
High School Musical
Garfield: A Tale of Two Kittes
Superman Returns
Yours, Mine, & Ours (2005 remake)
Alvin & the Chimpmunks
Bratz

Let's see there has to be more I can add to the list

Last Action Hero - Holy hell is this a dumb movie.  It was dumb when I saw it in the theaters years ago and it is is dumber in full screen on HBO.
Adventures In Babysitting - Hmmm, teenager posing as her mother and working in the corporate world and not getting sexual harassed...hmmm indeed.
Juno - I saw this one, loved it, saw it again and really started to get the gears going for a riff.  This one takes itself a little too seriously.
True Lies - A personal favorite action flick, but is anyone buying the fact Arnold is named Harry Tasker with that thick accent?
"God is my favorite fictional character" - Homer Simpson
"You know what was a monster? Frampton Comes Alive 1976" - Peter Griffin

Just wanted to let everyone know, that due to work boredom, I am compiling and counting the films here (the wonders of Excel).  Hopefully i can post it by the end of the week.

JESUS FUCKING CHRIST!  You have that much free-time at work?  You must work for FEMA.

Nope, in payroll actually.  But I have come to find if I open a spreadsheet with a lot of data the boss will walk past me and say "Good Work McConnell".  That is always nice, especially when he says my name right.

I should also add I am only making the list based on what people actually posted.  There are a few of these "any bad Uwe Bowl" or "any bad musicals".  If it specific I will add/count it.

Well good luck compiling them all, it will be an arduous task, I'm sure.

Not as hard as it sounds...but it will be time consuming.  I am just basically doing it page by page (3 done so far...damn conference call).  It may take me more than this week though...

In the end though it might be helpful...it is a great way to gauge what people are looking for.  That can be posted at the top in poll form if needed.  But I think at some point the thread should be closed for two reasons, 1. So it can be tallied and 2. So the tallies don't get thrown off by people adding stuff in while it is being counted.  Now of course one could say that every film can be riffed, although true that wasn't the intention here.  Everyone will have a different list, but if a master list is started, then we (all of us collectively) can keep score and possibly submit it to the guys.  That was my thinking for the count.

If anyone wants to assist, by all means send me a private message.

EDIT - Actually now that I re-read my post, it might be a good idea to close this thread down temporarily (and not start others) for about a week or two so I (and others) can tally these results.

I think it's a great idea to tally people's list... there are obviously many films that make it into multiple people's lists and thus shows that there might be more overall demand for certain films.

Cheers to your efforts!

Mystery Science Theater 3000 The Movie!!

We've been over this.  If they did this then time itself would cease to be.
