I always thought that plot point seemed more plausible than "it fell from space." Why did it come from space? Did all the other symbiote's not let venom play the symbiote games?

I think it was sort of fitting how it literally dropped out of the sky. "It's so perfuctory we're not even going to bother coming up with a backstory. So here ya go! *plop*"

Good thing:  It lead to Venom's 15 seconds of screen time.

Bad thing:  It didn't really fall on Gisele Bundchen.

Good Thing: Venom
Bad Thing: Venom dies like a bitch.

Bad Thing: Mary Jane didn't get to be symbioted. (Srsly, it would have been a neat plot twist and it would help explain a lot. Who knows, it might even force her to develope character depth)

The Good Thing:  It actually ended.  (It only SEEMED like an infinity.) 

The Bad Thing:  Taking a huge, giant whizz down the pants-leg of the Spider-Man origin.  Trust me, given enough time, I could come up with at least 1,000+ other "bad things."
