How did Lileks Do?

I thought I was going to be in trouble when I heard Lileks go on his nerdy Spiderman diatribe during the opening credits.

But by the end I was a firm believer.  He delivered punch lines perfectly, had the tone of cynicism in his voice throughout the movie that just made me laugh, and he and Mike had great chemistry.  I look forward to seeing more of him.

I'm also glad that I'm not the only one in the Bill Corbet corner.  When he replaced Trace a lot of people gave him some slack, but I don't know, he has always been the funniest riffer imho.  I guess its his smart ass tone.

Always loved Trace, and when I first heard he'd been replaced with Bill as Crow I was admittedly worried, but Bill made a believer out of me very quickly.  I can't really choose which is better because they're both hysterical.  Just like the Mike/Joel debates, I just sit back and say "As long as I can hear one of them I'm happy"

Question, though: Is there a reason why every guest has to be JUST Mike + Guest? It could be fun to see Mike + Bill + Guest or Mike + Kevin + Guest or (If possible) Mike, Bill and Kevin + Guest. Mix it up a little!

I'd love mixing up too, but my guess is they pay the guest stars a little more. And fair enough.

Okay finally got to watch this one.  Long story short, Lileks is a natural.  He was funny as hell and his delivery style was both unique and perfectly suited to riffing.  Well done sir, hope to see you back soon.

I completely agree - I was incredibly impressed with Lileks job on this one. 

The timing with which he delivered lines was right on the same level as Riff-masters Nelson, Murphy and Corbett.  I truly hope they bring him back for another guest spot.

In addition to his writings, Lileks is an ex-radio guy so he knows delivery and timing.
