12 Monkeys?

Wow, rated R.  Not based on a book.  Probably a box office success. Don't think it starred someone from a previous track...And you had guessed like two other random movies.  The forum will now accept your apology

NO!

20.

Oops, Bruce was in 5E.  Sorry about that.  But still...

Well, thank god that we didn't randomly blurt out movie names. That would have been really stupid.

Red Tape

It could be a Star Trek Movie. I think the odd numbered ones generally didn't do well.

David

We work out the rest of this. WITHOUT USING A SINGLE QUESTION MARK. And work out an official guess. Please.

Pak-Man

Well I'm just gonna be laying low for a couple weeks until all this blows over. :^)

robertraur

Don't worry guys, it's definitely contact.

no box office, on earth, future, book, Tom Skerrit (grizzle).

Reserve your copy.
Anytime someone offers you 10,000 to 1 odds, you take it.
Lets just say if John Mellancamp ever wins an Oscar, I'll be a rich man.

The Tick

Computer games don't affect kids; I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music.

Yeah, I was thinking it was going to be First Contact, but that's not based off of a book.
I am Ambassador Phantom, from the planet Krankor! I am rapidly approaching your planet... in the warship, which you have just seen. I will arrive tomorrow night at precisely eight o'clock. At that time I shall make my wishes known to you. You will obey them... or die! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA!

Well, it was bound to happen some time.  Well done everyone who guessed a random movie right off the bat and to anyone so desperate to get an answer in that they completely went against clues that had already been established!

David

I don't think the star trek movies were ever based on books.

Contact does make sense.  Based on a book, PG-13, came out in the 1990's, sci-fi...has Tom Skerrit in it (Top Gun rifftrack)...

MontyServo

How about we just take the free rifftrax off the table and you let us keep guessing until we get it right?

Or just show us the new Rifftrax poster.  It is the holiday season after all.

Nubule

Could it be the Island of Dr Moreau?  That had Val Kilmer in it.  I was thinking Starship Troopers, but it's rated R.

Human antagonist? (Never saw it.)
