Yikes.  That was embarrassing.

I think we're going to have to ask the mods to take the free RiffTrax off the table if we're ever going to get another 20 Questions right.  The prospect of a free something (a three dollar value!) apparently trumps the spirit of cooperation.

Well, it was bound to happen some time.  Well done everyone who guessed a random movie right off the bat and to anyone so desperate to get an answer in that they completely went against clues that had already been established!

What's up with the attitude? Maybe if a RiffTrax admin didn't imply it was going to be a Christmas movie, I wouldn't have guessed the one we all voted for on the frontpage.

Hey, it IS kind of stupid to just start guessing movie titles right away.
Imrahil: Don't care about Riding with Death.

Bob: Turkey.

Action Batch:  Woah, let's all mellow out and rap about this.

Oh!  Or it could be Lost in Space-That had Gary Oldman, (Fifth Element), and it's TECHNICALLY based on Swiss family Robinson...maybe?  Ya think?

Lost In Space did okay at the box office though.  It was the film that finally knocked Titanic out of the top spot.

What a dark day that was.

Oops, editing in to say, no it didn't.  Wow, that movie actually tanked pretty hard after its opening weekend.

Yeah, I guess...Lost in Space Started off on Earth, anyway.

Gotta be based on earth too.

See, this is what I was referring to. People are so anxious to get their guess in that we fail to even research our question.

Well put, Steve-o.

It's supposed to be fun, but it's not much fun with all the chaos and disorder... I guess that's why I enjoy the puzzle ones much better now.

Yes, and yet, it's happening more and more lately.

Well of course I register just too late to join in this game (no fair, i was just watching the Rifftrax for The Grudge, too!), but I do have a guess if anyone's interested...

I know we won't know until it's posted on the site, but maybe it's Sphere. 1998, PG-13, starring Samuel L. Jackson (who was also in Star Wars Episode I), Sci-Fi based on a book by Michael Chriton, takes place on Earth, made less than half it was made for...

I dunno'. Just a newb considering options... Feel free to cuss me out at this point >.>;

Sphere is close. Samuel L. Jackson (star wars), based on a book, sci fi, 1998. Who/what was the antagonist?
