She's horrifying. She sounds like James Earl Jones at the bottom of a well.

Bitch, I know you're not talkin' about my Hellga!

No, I'd never talk about your man.

Wasn't this thread originally about a James Bond movie?

In a surely vain attempt to drag it back on topic, let me opine that Helga looks like she could do in real life what Famke Jannsen could only do in the movies.

Just without the charm, excitement, tension or thrills.  Or budget.  Or James Bond.  :)

Or hair. You forgot hair. And compared to a Sean Connery movie, that makes Hitman the polar opposite of James Bond.

QuoteAICN received a scoop from a theater manager, who got to browse through various exhibitor websites where he learned that the upcoming James Bond movie, "Quantum of Solace," will premier its trailer in front of Will Smith's "Hancock" on July 2nd. It is assumed that the trailer will then be released online.

In other Bond news, Paul Haggis, who wrote "Casino Royale" and "Quantum of Solace," has revealed to IGN that he is interested in helming a Bond movie himself. Haggis has recently directed "In The Valley of Elah" and the Oscar-winner "Crash" before that.

"Look, what Martin [Campbell] did with 'Casino Royale,' he shot for 120 days, it's so difficult to do something like that and I'm not sure that I'm up for that Herculean feat," said Haggis. "When I've made four or five films I'd like to do a Bond film."

Wow, shocking news. Tarantino wants to direct a Bond film, so did Spielberg. I don't remember anyone caring.

QuoteThe upcoming James Bond pic, "Quantum of Solace," will open in Britain a week ahead of its US release. Sony Pictures Releasing will provide the new movie to UK audiences on October 31st, while the US opening remains on November 7th.

Other Euro territories getting the movie ahead of the US are France and Belgium, where "Solace" appears in theaters on November 5th. The Netherlands and Germany get the pic on November 6th.

"Quantum of Solace" takes up where "Casino Royale" left off, with Daniel Craig reprising the role of the British superspy as he embarks on a revenge mission following his betrayal by Vesper Lynd — Eva Green's character in the previous film — that takes him to Austria, Italy and South America.

Along the way, a case of mistaken identity in Haiti introduces Bond to the beautiful but feisty Camille (Olga Kurylenko), a woman nursing her own vendetta, who leads 007 to Dominic Greene (Mathieu Amalric), a ruthless business man and major force within a mysterious organization.

Bond discovers that Greene, conspiring to take total control of one of the world's most important natural resources, is forging a dastardly deal with an exiled Latin American general (Joaquin Cosio).

Sony Pictures Entertainment and MGM are producing "Solace," which is currently shooting.

No! USA must be first in everything! Even British movies! Curse you, England!

QuoteAlong with some new pictures, USA Today has reported on their visit to the "Quantum of Solace" set, which has currently been re-located to Chile. Here is a clip from the set visit:

The movie, opening November 7th, is about halfway through filming. They've been to Panama and Baja California, Mexico, with plans to shift next to Italy and Austria before returning to London's famed Pinewood Studios for more stage shooting.

The action sequence shot in the Chilean desert last week is a turning point for the embittered superspy, his chance to discover whether his thirst for vengeance will turn him into the same kind of cold-blooded killer as the people he is fighting.

"He has his heart broken," says Daniel Craig, who turned 40 during the shoot. "The love of his life is killed, and he finds out she's not who she said she was. He's out for revenge. But he's also out to find — and this is what the title is about — a 'quantum of solace.' Something has been taken away from him, and he's out to get that back."
