Have any of RiffTrax's running jokes worn on you? Do you never wish to hear certain phrases uttered by the Riff Masters ever again? Do you wish you could go back in time and unhear a couple of the jokes that currently pollute the blackest depths of your immortal soul?

I, for one, am more than tired of the Daddy Day Camp / According to Jim / Who's Your Caddy bashing. THEY'RE BAD. WE GET IT. They've become such stock jokes, they show up multiple times in each episode.

The pooping joke in the Heroes track is hands down the worst joke they've done thus far.

The only one I can think of is the "steroid rage" line in the Spider Man wrestling scene.  I've said it before, too many wrestlers have died due to drug use, steroids or other, for me to find it funny.  The Benoit tragedy was still weighing heavily on my mind when I first watched that track.

Any and all fart jokes.  I think the whole riffing genre is about pushing intelligent humor, why resort to third grade?

Chiliking20

I am very tired of all the masterbation jokes.
But, I still love a good schnappi reference!!!

Ditto. I am also a bit sick of Schnappi and Daddy Day Camp / According to Jim jokes. They've become too easy and predictable.

I've hidden it! I've devised a series of clues, each more fiendish than the last...

I never had a problem with the occasional low-brow humor. There are smart ways to drop a fart joke or fat joke or a masturbation joke... and the guys usually handle this pretty well. When they drop a masturbation joke it's like Shakespear when compared to something in a similar vein from the Wayans Brothers or whatever. The last thing I want is the guys attempting to travel the high road at all costs. If a fart joke fits... then I'll laugh more times than not.

The only recurring "type" of jokes that I don't think work anymore are the times when they drop the suicide references. Don't get me wrong, I have no qualms with joking about suicide per se... It's just that those jokes could pass in MST3K, when the premise was that the guys were watching these movies against their will.  In Rifftrax... it's just whining. Granted, I think it's a really, really small proportion of releases that feature such lines... but that's all I got if I had to pick something.

The Schnappi phenomenon is long over. I vote they end it entirely.

Also, they can tone down the "This movie is so terrible it hurts me to watch it!!" jokes. In lieu of something clever or funny, they throw these in there a bit too much. That's why I hated the Star Wars Episode 3 riff. It was just more of the same and nothing new.

I concur with that. Have these guys seen those? Unless they were going to potentially Rifftrax them, I can't imagine they would even bother. Conor threw himself on the grenade that was Daddy Day Camp, but Mike, Kevin and Bill are professionals who know better. At the very least, perhapse they could change it up with additional titles of heinous moves like The Pink Panther remake and such.

LONG LIVE SCHNAPPI! It still gets me every time. :^)

I think I dislike the "kill me T_T" type jokes, mainly because they don't make sense in the context of rifftrax. If you're being subjected to this by an evil mad scientist who has control over your actions, yeah, death seems like an out, but with a rifftrax? Just get out of the sound booth. x.o

I think some of the more snarkish ghey jokes wear thin, though there are ones I like. I'm trying to remember whether "Liberache only wishes he was this gay" was a rifftrax joke or not.
Love doesn't hurt. It kills.

"Where there's smoke, there's a smoke-making machine."

In the Halloween riff, during the scene where Jamie Lee is in class toward the beginning of the film, Kevin starts going on about how awful the teacher is, and it is the most forced and unfunny joke I've heard in any of the tracks (though I still haven't gotten around to watching the Heroes riff yet.)  It was pretty random in its ferocity.

Can't remember that in a Rifftrax, but I know Joel said a line like it during the Mr. B Natural Short about Oscar Wilde.
