I agree. I think the only type of movie that wouldn't work for Rifftrax is a genuinely funny comedy. On MST3K, Catalina Caper barely worked because it was a comedy, just a very unfunny one. So to riff on a funny movie like Caddyshack, Ghostbusters, etc. Wouldn't really work.
Caddyshack 2, on the other hand....

10.) Taxi - Jimmy Fallon is pure evil.

9.)  Man of the House - Tommy Lee Jones' most degrading role ever.

8.)  The Jazz Singer - This is "Glitter"... Neil Diamond style.  Endless riff potential from Neil's hair alone.

7.)  The Skulls - Mike could have a ball with Josh "Action" Jackson in an ivy league setting.  Craig T. Nelson's mustache steals the show.

6.) Waterworld - Costner drinks from his own well.  How could that not be great?  Length could be an issue.

5.)  54 - What a horrid display.  Ryan Phillipe in the most expressive screen performance since Denise Richards in Starship Troopers.  Mike Myers could drive a Quaker into a homicidal rage with his truly troublesome performance.

4.)  Kuffs - Christian Slater has slid by for long enough.  Let's watch him in his most skin peeling role.

3.)  Dirty Dancing - The Shirtless One in a full on "rebel with a heart of gold" assault.  Plus, the mocking track might finally convince my wife that this movie is rotten to the core.

2.)  The Postman - Kevin Costner's largest act of self-gratification to date.  Shot entirely in "Costner-Vision" for your Costner viewing pleasure.

1.)  Rhinestone - The worst thing that Stallone has ever done.  Now, that's saying something.  In this installment, our mush mouthed, arm wrestlin', grenade throwing, mountain climbing, Russian punching, Tango & Cashing embarrassment attempts to blend in with the hill folk.  He sings, He dances, he kisses Dolly Parton.  Thoroughly disturbing.

I'm in, just because I hate Paul Walker.

10 -  Clockstoppers (if you don't remember this, then you're a better person for forgetting it... never let johnathon frakes direct a non-star trek movie)
9 - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (The original live action one!!!  ;D )
8 - Planet of the Apes (the remake)
7 - Day After Tomorrow
6 - The Core
5 - Armageddon
4 - Deep Impact
3 - The Pilot episode of the new Knight Rider series
2 - Mean Girls (w/ Lindsay Lohan)
...and my NUMBER ONE I would die to see
1 - Godzilla (the 1998 American one.  I would KILL to see a riff of this one)

Thank you ladies and gentlemen

I don't know...I found the Star Wars prequels to be comedies....they stank on ice!

That's the thing, a bad horror, sci-fi, action movies become comedies. Bad comedies just become embarassing and painful to watch (like a drunk aunt at a wedding). Dramas often do this, too (see MST3K's Hamlet).

10. (ok it counts as 1) The original Star Wars Trilogy, with the extended crap released in the 90's. The guys would go to town on the added scenes.
9. Jersey Girl
8. Anything Ben Affleck, Keanu Reeves (except bill&Teds), or Matthew McCounaghey
7. Anything from Chick-flick Hell
6. Inconvenient Truth
5. V for Vendetta
4. Ghost Rider
3. Pacifier
2. You Got Served
1. Doom

You Got Served!  Nice call.  I forgot all about that little gem.  Also, "In the Mix" for that matter.  And how about "Broken Arrow"?  The list is endless...

obstacle corpse

first post here... theres a lot of great suggestions, I tried not to make any repeats. But I also didn't feel like reading 60 pages.

10.  Assault on Precinct 13..... Morpheus Vs. Fast and the Furious..
9. The Saint.... Val Kilmer, a master of disguise........ :gouge:
8. Dante's Peak... Pierce Brosnon is Super-English-Geologist Man!... Volcano could easily fit here as well.
7. Eraser... "No.. dats joust a few peeeces of plaztik and papaarrghhh!.. WHO YOU REALLY ARGH IS IN HERERGH!", very insightful, Arnie.
6. Junior.. now... I don't think I've ever seen this all the way through without getting an aneurysm.... but a pregnant governator would make for some serious quality riffage.
5. The Rock.... God bless Bruckheimer's infatuation with Nicholas Cage for the greater part of the late 90's. Leaving Rifftrax with countless hours of material.
4. Con-Air.... see above
3. Twister... "NO! we need MORE natural disaster movies! Don't let up! Put your backs into it, men!"
2. Deep Rising.. Holy C-actor marathon, Batman!... and Femke Jennsen  :-*

1. Johnny Mnemonic..... Keanu Reeves, Dolph Lundren and Henry Rollins.... <- There is absolutely nothing else I can say.

honorable mentions/I second the notion of: Stargate, 8MM, The Mummy, Last Action Hero, Waterworld, The 6th Day, End of Days, Predator 2, Ghost Rider, Hulk, X-Men 2-3, Armageddon, Deep Impact, Conan, RED SONYA, Escape from LA/NY, Big Trouble In the Little China....

Pretty much anything Arnold, Bruckheimer and Nicholas Cage is fair game
.... clever girl..

As people have said before, sorry if there are repeats in this............
Also may not be in order...

10) The Shadow - The MAIN Baldwin brother as a super-hero.. He laughs a lot in this :D
9)   Hard Rain - Christian Slater is all wet....Sorry. :rimshot:
  8) Gymkata - I mean come on.....This is MST3K quality, and now readily available on DVD >:(
7)  Congo - Laser monkeys the movie! ;D
6)  Waterworld - No explanation needed ::)
5)  Red Dawn - Wolverines!!!!!! >:D
4) Invasion U.S.A - Chuck Norris with his Uzi Bra ;)
3) Krull - This movie was supposed to beat Return Of The Jedi at the Box Office????? ???
2) Firestorm - Howie Long's first and last starring role >:D
1) And the best disaster movie ever, ever, ever......wait for it....VOLCANO! ;D

And the saddist part, I own all these titles. :highfive:

OK.... I'm changing items 1-10 on my list to

ZARDOZ!

the worst / best / worst again movie EVER.

Sean Connery in the worst costume ever....

TABERNAAACLE!

Everything else has to come after that.... even Robot Jox..... as much as it hurts to say.... hehehe
This is like, the big Cake-Taker of all riff-ripe movies... there's more riff potential in the first 10 minutes of this movie than in a lot of other movies put together.

I mean, it starts with a guy wearing boxers on his head and a drawn-on set of facial hair..... COME ON

and in the category "best usage of panty/suspender combo" we have a tie:

This is not in ANY Special order.

1. Logan's Run
2 .All the Home movies that my parent's took of us when we were kids in the 70's. The clothes alone would create giggles.
3. LadyHawke    I really want to know what the animals are thinking.
4. ClockWork Orange.
5.  The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari   ( Any silent film is open for automatic riffing, but would be cool to see at least one silent film riffed.)
6.  Clash of the Titans
7.  Road Warrior
8.  Wolf (1994 with Jack Nicholson)
9.  The cat from outer space/ the apple dumpling gang.
10.   Any movie that I can instantly watch on my NetFlix would be a major plus.

9.  Riffing one of the MST3000 shows.  I'm sure I'm not the first to come up with this marvelous plan.

I think Mike said it best in one of his interviews, something about this destroying the universe.
