Mucho thanks to both of you, Chris and James.  It was a thrill to hear my words come out of their mouths.  Even if it was a "poop" joke.

I was walking on cloud nine last night after hearing that my riff was so well liked.  Thanks for the opportunity and for your hard work.

And thanks to everyone at Rifftrax for letting us in on the fun.  I hope this sells truckloads and we can all do this again in the future.

Once I started watching this riff, I quickly realized that there are some damn funny mo fo's on this forum (the poop joke is truly an instant classic, congrats Monty).  I also quickly realized that my script was woefully not up to par.  I only watched the movie once, and I only wrote down jokes when they came to me, and I had to skip over a good chunk of the final act because my DVD started skipping...in the end, I ended up with only ~40 riffs total.  Due to time contraints, I made no effort to go back and polish up any jokes, or revise my script in any way.  Hence, none of my jokes were used...they said they used my script, but other than the Glen Frey reference (which I'm sure is bratpop's) I didn't see any of mine make the cut.  (maybe I missed one though, can Chaos or Chris shine some light on that?)

I haven't finished it yet (can't remember the last time I got through an entire RiffTrax in one sitting -- sigh), but so far it's hilarious. I'm really impressed with what a great job you guys did! :)

You were both credited with the Glen Frey joke.

Thanks Chaos, I don't know how I missed that one when I watched it.  Glad it made it!

Chris, James: Thank you so much for all your work, and patience. Looking back, I'm amazed any of my riffs got used - it seems my timecdes were still off even after my attempt at correcting them!

Well the Rifftrax wasn't perfect, but considering the source and the movie being riffed, perfection wasn't gonna happen. It all turned out darn good, though, and I got many-a-laugh.

But the chance to write for Rifftrax was honestly one of the best moments of my life. Seriously, I'm gonna be looking back on this when I'm 80 and I'm still gonna say, "That was SO COOL!" No. No. I'm going to use the word "Awesome." I think I've had my fill of ice-words. :^)

I wrote words, Mike, Kevin, and Bill themselves SAID those words. Countless others heard those words, and hopefully one or two laughed at those words. I live to spread laughter, and to get to do it in a Rifftrax is a priceless oportunity. Thank you Mike, Kevin, Bill, and everyone at Riffraff theater.

And to whomever defended my "Frozen account" joke (There MUST have been some controversy) and managed to get it into the Rifftrax, there's a special place in pun-heaven for you. :^)

Couldn't have said it better myself, Pak.  That's exactly how I'm feeling.  Thank you for that, and I second your thoughts.

I really enjoyed it and I give Kudos to everyone that contributed.

That being said, I thought near the end that there wasn't really enough riffing.  Understandibly though...  By the time you sit through that movie and if you can make it to the end, your soul has been crushed and it's hard to think of something funny when you just want to cry.

Overall, I really liked it and hope someday that we can have another fan riff so I can get in on the action!  I just wouldn't want it to be something that is done too often.  That way, if it is done again, it will stay a special event for us all!

Good work!

My take and Free Preview now posted!

Sweet, I have a riff in your preview and one in the official one.  I like your idea on allowing the guys fill in any gaps in future projects, but I think if given more time to write and edit we could lessen the gaps so they might not have to.

I think the reason they didn't fill in any gaps is that they weren't expecting to HAVE to after the got the script. They were expecting a completed script. Who knows if they didn't just get it and record it immediately afterwards.

I mean, aside from the fact that they couldn't call it a "completely written by the fans" Rifftrax if they wrote even one word of it. And if they start filling in the gaps, then people would just riff it half-assed and send them half a script, which defeats the whole purpose.

We might as well send Mike half-eaten sandwiches.

I've finished it now. I didn't mind the gaps (hey, what do you know, I'm speaking British!  ;) ) that much. Aside from a spot or two that seemed to be begging for a riff, I was happy with it. It was such great writing that I honestly wouldn't have known the regulars didn't write it. There's no higher praise.
