Movies coming in 2008: Which seems to have the least potential?

Speaking of trailers, here's the one for Uwe Boll's In the Name of the King:

Sadly, it looks merely average, rather than downright awful.  Though Johnathon Rhys-Davis is pretty hilarious in that wig.

Remember that trailer someone put together for Prince of Space that made it look awesome and epic?

Neither girl in that poster is hot. Who think's Paris's f**ked up face and regdoll body is hot?! At least the other girl has potential.

Plastic Self-Cleaning Duck

Brace yourself for the inevitiable air-headed quote from Hilton that this movie is actually PRO-woman.....

Like Gwenith Paltrow trying to make it sound like Shallow Hal wasn't making fun of overweight people.

Doctor Who?

Who's idea was it to put "A film by Uwe Boll" on the poster?

Spoiler

Do we really want to know what Uwe Boll's idea of comedy is?

With our luck the same idiots that go to see Epic movie will turn out fo this garbage it will be the bigest money maker of all time, and Uwe Boll will get a star on the walk of fame.

The ORIGINAL trailer was much, much worse.  You actually got to see "ninjas" in shitty costumes dropping down from the trees and doing something that I think is supposed to be martial arts, but looks more like something out of a Justin Timberlake video.  And you also got to hear a bit more of a certain dialogue exchange:

Some Dude: "[Evil Guy] is raising armies...VAST armies!"
Jason Statham: "I'll kill him!"

Um...and that will help how, exactly?  They'll still have to deal with the HUGE FUCKING ARMY!  Oh, and I forgot to mention that ItNotK features BURT FUCKING REYNOLDS as the titular king (in whose name everything is apparently of)!

Sounds PLENTY ridiculous to me.
Correction: the coat hanger should be upside down.

Could have sword I saw Ray Liotta in the trailer too. And the ninjas you see dropping down from the trees are probably elves judging by their retarded Ren Fest outfits and the fact that the word "Dungeon" is in the movie's title.

See? Now you've just restored my enthusiasm for the film!  :)

Hmm...I've actually PLAYED Dungeon Siege, but I don't remember any elves in it.  I'm pretty sure there were dwarves, and I KNOW there were goblins, Krug (basically orcs in everything but name), and dragons and such.  So they're probably just ninjas.......which weren't in the game, either.  (Why the hell WOULD there be?)    Keep in mind that this is the same Uwe Boll who turned down an original draft for House of the Dead because it didn't have enough car chases in it; the same Uwe Boll who thought it would be a good idea to make a movie based on Bloodrayne set it in a completely different time period in which there are NO Nazis.

Whether or not something is even REMOTELY related to the game is really no concern of his.  He probably just felt like making a ninja movie, but was too impatient to just wait 'til he was done making his fantasy film, so he decided to combine the two.  I mean, with other directors, tinkering with the storyline to fit with the director's vision MIGHT be a good thing, as DS was more of a gameplay-based RPG than a story-based one.  Unfortunately (and/or fortunately), this movie is the vehicle of master auteur Uwe Boll.  You just KNOW he threw in all kinds of ridiculous elements.  Glow-in-the-dark bullets, anyone?

Man, it's like they're making fun of the other chick just because she's a burn victim.  THAT's not fair.

Damn you Hollywood.  When I complain that Paris Hilton is one of many celebrities I can't stand because she's famous for no good reason and doesn't really do anything...that didn't mean we should give her things to DO!

Please, God, pleasepleaseplease let this be a stealth remake of "Carrie".  Paris Hilton on fire ... aaaaaahhhh ...

Not that I'd watch it, but at least I wouldn't feel compelled to publicly humiliate people who did.

Apparently the other girl is being played by Christine Lakin, whom you may remember from "Step By Step".  She's way better looking that Paris.
