Is Christine Lakin's character a recovering meth addict or something in the movie? She kinda looks like a young Jerri Blank.

I think she's a recovering leper.

Thanks media, for targeting the lepers again.  Haven't they suffered enough??

So, imdb does a round-up pf the critics' thoughts of the new releases this week, In the Name of the King is one of them.  Here's what it had to say:

QuoteIn the Name of the King is based on the video game Dungeon Siege and is directed by Uwe Boll, who is making a career out of turning video games into movies. It was not reviewed by critics

Now normally, they would specify of the movie wasn't screened for critics, but it seems here that critics just didn't watch it!  Are they trying to bury Uwe Boll by not reviewing him movies, or are they so certain that it's going to be awful, that a review isn't necessary? Or is imdb just making an innocent (though it makes things boring) mistake?

Dim of the Yard

It's just an IMDb gaff.  The local newspaper said that the movie wasn't screened for critics, but it will be reviewed soon enough.  I think I prefer your ideas, though, Mr. Basehart.

I also read somewhere that Uwe Boll no longer screens his movies for critics.  I can't find the original article where I read that, and I can't find another one to back up my claim, so I'm wondering if I made it up.  It sounds like something Uwe would do, but I'm not too sure.  Anybody else hear something like this, or am I just crazy?

This morning, Rotten Tomatoes had it at a score of 0%. Since then, it has leaped up to 6%. ONE critic gave it a good review. Now, this is just my guess, but was this guy on CRACK when he reviewed the movie? I guess we'll never know for sure.

This iRiff will only be on sale for another few hours. Get it while it's cheap!

The fact that Rifftrax hasn't riffed one of Uwe Boll's films is a tragic oversight.

I think Mr. Boll's movies are SO soul-suckingly bad, there's no joy that can be wrung out from them. I have some hope for In the Name of the King, though, since it's not horror, so it'll probably go light on the soul-sucking. But then this is Uwe Boll. :^)

It wouldn't shock me, this is the same director who's answer to bad reviews once was to challenge any critic to a fist-fight right?

Actually, on DreadCentral.com did a "Splattrax" for House of the Dead. It was fun, although a bit different from Rifftrax.

Neither girl in that poster is hot. Who think's Paris's f**ked up face and regdoll body is hot?! At least the other girl has potential.

Apparently the other girl is being played by Christine Lakin, whom you may remember from "Step By Step".  She's way better looking that Paris.

I was hoping that the other girl would be revealed to actually be Paris before the Hair, Make-up, air-brushing and CGI people got through with her.

Christine Lakin, for those of you who wonder what she looks like for real.

BathTub

Well at least they didn't just do what every tv show does and grab a good looking actress and put her hair up and give her glasses, making her 'ugly'.

You forgot the braces.

Tripe

Here's the thing, I find America Ferrera cuter as Betty than when she actually tries to glam it up at award ceremonies.
