I'm sure these have been suggested but here goes:

1.  The Super Mario Brothers Movie.
2.  Leprechaun in the Hood  (Rapping Warwick Davis, Rapping Warwick Davis!)
3.  Theodore Rex (farting dinosaur fights crime with a cyborg Whoopi Goldberg...before Waterworld was the biggest financial flop...studios pull the plug on a theatrical release to save face/money)
4.  Dr. Mordrid (The failed live-action Dr. Strange flick)
5.   Beowolf.  Please, please please make fun of Beowolf/wulf when the DVD comes out.  Any film that ends with an implied shot of Angelina Jolie's glowing demon breasts needs this treatment.
6.  Planet of the Apes, Tim Burton version.
7.  Old Yeller.  Seriously.
8....ah crap I'm ending my list before I just start throwing thriller on here.  Oh wait my final one:

Final Suggestion:

1972's Silent Running.  Since that's what MST3K was based off of.....would love to see it.

Agreed 100%

RaYzor

(1) Easy Rider
The goofy-ass editing and extremely dated clothing / drug culture alone should make for a hysterical Riff

(2) Premonition (Sandra Bullock, 2007)
If the Riffers would make getting thru this endurance trial of a terribly bad, boring film the least bit funny I would nominate them for the Nobel Peace Prize

(3) Blood and Chocolate
See reasons for (2) and add in horrible effects and actors that apparently aren't aware that they are even in a movie

(4) Cliffhanger (Stallone, 1990's)
Come on.  Cliffhanger... Stallone ... MOUNTAIN CLIMBING ... terrorists ... the chick from Northern Exposure that looks like a dude... this is a no brainer

(5) Forrest Gump
I hate this guy and he deserves to have his accident of successful, meaningful life Riffed to shreds

(6) Batman and Robin
Why hasn't this been done yet?  I figure maybe Mike is waiting for the planets to align or something, but it has to be done, and soon

Well there's 6 I would buy instantly!  Get going guys, great job so far  :D
Now you see that evil will always triumph ... because good is dumb.

My god, could anything be more riffable?

I mean, seriously: Could there by anything more riffable than a 6'4" Western American actor playing a mongol? Anything? ???
Everyone who believes in justice, racial equality and free speech should support Duane "the Dog" Chapman and boycott anyone who takes action against him.

John Travolta playing a nine-foot-tall dreadlocked alien.

I'd congratulate myself, but c'mon, this was way easier than Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?.

Oh come on! At least in battlefield earth they use perspective shots and other effects to make travolta look the right height! They never even addressed the fact that genghis khan was likely to be aroung 5'8 or so and wayne was 6'4...

[plug]Hey if any of you are making your top ten lists, why not add 15 more and submit your top 25 for Greg McDuck so we can get as much data possible to decide what the most wanted Rifftrax is?

Here are the details:

hello all,

i'm a long time mst3k fan and just recently discovered Rifftrax (I just downloaded and am watching the Top Gun trax right now in all its gum-chomping glory) and for my first post I'd like to present my list of suggested movies to riff

please note I'm omitting Batman & Robin because I heard rumors that it may be riffed soon, but as a lifelong Batman fan believe me it deserves to be riffed mercilessly

1. Masters of the Universe - Dolph "Ivan Drago" Lundgren as the musclebound sword-swinger who doesn't actually use his sword until the last 30 minutes and Frank Langella as a creepy walking skeleton with a god complex, and introducing Courtney Cox in her first movie (...but why?). Think of it as a louder, more special effects laden version of "Cave Dwellers" with laser guns stolen from a Star Wars fan film

2. Street Fighter - Video games that are based on nothing but fighting have little to no plot, and yet this movie still managed to butcher it. Starring Jean Claude Van Damme and Raul Julia in his last film as, you guessed it, a video game super-villain trying to take over the world.

3. The Ewok Adventure - if the Rifftrax Crew could handle the Star Wars Holiday Special than this desperate attempt to sell spinoff merchandising will be a walk in the park.

4. Judge Dredd - I liked this movie better when it was called Demolition Man because even though the two are identical (even down to cheesy cameos by Rob Schneider) at least Demolition Man attempts to be funny on purpose.

5. Highlander 2 - THE textbook example of a sequel that should never have existed, considering the original ended in a way that left no opening to continue the story ("There can be only one" has a sort of finality to it don't you think?) This movie gave us the concept that the immortals are actually time traveling aliens and that Christopher Lambert can act.

6. Grease 2 - another "why does it exist?" sequel, as well as Michelle Pfeiffer's first movie. Crappy songs, crappier acting, and instead of John Travolta we get the guy from the Tom Hanks movie "Bachelor Party" in a lead role

7. The Wizard - Fred "Kevin Arnold" Savage takes his video game prodigy brother on a road trip to a video game tournament. This movie belongs in the Guinness Book of World Records as the longest toy commercial ever made.

8. Steel - Shaq takes a bit part character from Superman comic books, removes all connections to Superman, then makes a completely absurd movie about a 7 foot tall military engineer who uses a giant hammer and metal armor that conveniently fits only him to fight crime.

9. The Skulls - a murder mystery about the most evil, vile organization in the world: a college fraternity. Featuring Paul Walker as a not very fast and not very furious preppy frat boy and Coach T. Nelson as his manipulative father and starring the kid from Mighty Ducks as the sort-of hero.

10. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie - The tv show "Super Sentai" was such a big hit in Japan that American producers decided to take its stock footage and edit around it (barely) with English speaking actors, thus creating the color-coded superheroes of the 90s. They had it all, bright costumes, fancy karate moves, and giant robots. Did I miss anything? Plot maybe? Nah we can skid by without that as long as toy sales stay up.

RoninFox

That's a damn good list micro.  Couple of them would be harder to find than others, but I think all of them are possible.

And yeah, the Batman and Robin riff is coming up this year.  All the details are here.

I believe that would be tied with Mac and Me.
