When does Tranformers 2 come out?  That's my pick.
This from someone whose mind is always on the subject of cock rings. You can pick it as soon as you're done creating a cave in from picking your nose.

Cognac ANGRY!  SMASH!
I don't believe in smashing. I am a pacifist and am against war... I only kill out of personal spite. Just like the Brain Guys.

The Scary Movie franchise went way downhill since David Zucker took over, but a film about Ace Ventura's son that does not feature Jim Carrey sounds to me like Dumb and Dumberer: The Revenge. I don't have particularly high hopes for a remake of The Eye, a really good Chinese horror film, but it has a higher probability of being entertaining. One of the scenes from the original inspired a scene in one of my screenplays. I'm not going to divulge which one, though. Get Smart looked funny.

Quote from: Zardoz! on December 20, 2007, 08:27:27 PMI hope scary movie 5 bombs so badly that no one ever lets those hateful, poisonous, motherfucking asshole wayans boys near another movie studio ever again.

It was David Zucker that ruined the series. The first film was hilarious, the second wasn't as good as the first, but it was still pretty funny, and then the third was an extreme drop in quality. Don't Be A Menace to South Cental..., The Wayans Brothers sitcom, In Living Color and I'm Gonna Git You Sucka are all funny/entertaining.
This iRiff will only be on sale for another few hours. Get it while it's cheap!

In the Name of the King and Scary Movie 5 cannot be other than terrible without breaking fundamental laws of the universe. Ace Ventura Jr. would seem to fall into that category, but I don't know who they have playing Junior, and who knows, he might surprise people and be good.  Uwe Boll and the Wayans Brothers, though, are known quantities of awfulness.

But SM5, being an alleged comedy, will never get a Rifftrax.  ItNotK possibly might.  Therefore, Scary Movie 5 has the least potential, since it will neither entertain itself nor inspire others to entertain in its stead.  QED.

I had high hopes for the "Get Smart" movie when the cast was announced. Steve Carrel is a great choice for Max. And apparently Bill Murray and Patrick Warburton will have cameos as Agent 13 and Hymie the Robot, respectively. Perfect.

But all the reports say the script is mediocre and juvenile, and all the "satire" is incredibly dated. This is what they get for waiting to approach Mel Brooks, Buck Henry, and Leonard Stern for help until halfway through filming, I guess.

Wait wait, Ace Ventura Jr. even EXISTS?!

Ugh.  That's it.

I don't know where I'm going... but it'll be a while before I get back...

Currently, it is listed on the IMDB on Ace Ventura 3.

A child trying  to act like Jim Carey as Ace Ventura... This child's career is dead before it even starts, whoever it is. :^)

Don't get me wrong, I love Ace Ventura, but it just HAS to be Jim Carey. Coming from anyone else, it just looks obnoxious. (I know. Coming from CAREY it looks obnoxious, but he wears it so well. :^))

Exactly! Boll makes bad movies like Scorsese makes good ones.  It's easy to make an average one, but to make so truly awful - with a good budget and decent actors - takes a special kind of talent.  And the ability to be completely unaware of the quality (or lack of ) of their films is pretty awesome too.

Uwe Boll may one day be remembered as the worst director in film history - the McGonagall of his craft, a supreme genius of complete, unfailing stupidity.  If the movie is as bad as the trailer (and it won't be - it will surely be thousands of times worse), I just might go see it for the sake of witnessing history in the making.
Correction: the coat hanger should be upside down.

Plus he's got two other films due out this year: Postal, which I'm sure everyone knows about already, and Tunnel Rats, a war film starring Michael Pare.  Here's the synopsis from the imdb.com:

QuoteDuring the Vietnam War [1959-1975] a special US combat unit is sent out to hunt and kill the Viet Cong soldiers in a man-to-man combat in the endless tunnels underneath the jungle of Vietnam.

Who's idea was it to put "A film by Uwe Boll" on the poster?
