"I have a cunning plan."

Yes I am not the only one to get that line.  I love Black Adder.  Go Baldric

I love a good text adventure joke. :^)

> GET KEY

Hey, we had one of those too, though in a different place. :D

That only seems like an interactive fiction joke (nerd) if you type it like that.

Is it just me, or did anyone else think it was painfully OBVIOUS Dumbledore was gay. Not that I ever actually thought about it, but ever since I first saw the movie I thought hmm, Dumbledore's PARTNER? I never said "oh, he's gay," it was more an overall sense of gay vibe whenever he was on the screen, lightly touching Harry's shoulder, talking about dudes, walking around in his bathrobe. Although I'm sure I wouldn't know if old queens do that sort of thing. Or, you know, clap with one hand on the knuckles of the other. Or anything like that.

Also, what happened to them reading about Flamel on the back of Dumbledore's wizard card? Was that in a deleted scene? I could have sworn that was in the movie.

Mike: "It's like that movie where everything transformed."

Kevin: "Transformers?"

Mike: "No, no, that was about a kid who got caught masturbating."

ditto...

"Well there's no such thing as being 'big-boned' either."

"Just in case you forgot that they're nerds."

"He's taking an enchaunted leak."

"The award for sweeeetest beard."

When they got points deducted for being out late and Kevin, in an EXTREMELY sarcastic voice, says something like "How will they EVER make that up?"

I loved it because the "extra points" ending really pisses me off. Slytherin was robbed!!!  >:(

For the utter randomness of it, I loved Bill shouting "I WANT A TOAD" when Harry was talking to Hagrid in the pub.

I did too. It reminds me of that famous internet video of the kid in the face paint getting interviewed, the reporter asks him what he likes about Halloween and the kid comes back with a down-syndromey "I LIKE TURTLES!"

Yeah, that whole scene where Neville comes hopping in because of the leg-locker curse and Seamus gets upset because no one will let him try to counterjinx him and then Harry & Ron read the back of the card -- that's all a deleted scene.  So, if you watch every second of every showing on ABCFamily, you get confused as to which scenes are original to the theatrical release and which are deleted scenes.  ;D  My oldest son hates the scene 'cause it screws-up his "Harry Potter Scene-It" game which has the question, "When is the first time in HPSS that Hedwig's name is mentioned?" and the answer is actually, "Never," but her name is mentioned in that deleted scene by Harry. (Gads, that was really geeky of me....)  :-[

Hubby was rolling in the floor over the Nazi jokes (especially those linked with Draco).  I nearly dropped my laptop when Nevelle got caught while trying to fly ("Got one!  Ooh!  And that's a keeper!") and we both wondered how long it would be before everyone noticed the "path" around the chessboard that the trio should have taken -- thanks for riffing it!!

I'm going to have to watch it again to get all of them 'cause once wasn't enough.  And, oldest-son is coming home from college this weekend -- he's gonna wet himself watching this!

Also,

"I can has wizard?"

"He can't spell Voldemort? What, is there a silent 'z' in it?"

"Katie Holmes aged quickly."

Oh, and I loved the "campaigning for Giuliani" crack.  ;D

Reminds me of the Star Wars trivia on Behind The Magic. It asks what the reason was for naming and renaming "Revenge of the Jedi," and more than one answer is technically correct. I think they said it was to stop bootleggers, even though the official answer is "a Jedi doesn't seek revenge," but they claim Lucas said in some obscure interview no one's ever read that that was a LIE and it was really the bootleggers thing, which sounds like a load of crap to me. But since he's said both (allegedly), both are true, and he STILL says it had nothing to do with bootleggers.

Which reminds me of the game on the Crow DVD which asks you crap about the horrid Crow sequels that no one in their right mind should have to watch, and also the Image comics. And also things you have no business knowing.

I hate trivia games.

Regarding Hagrid

Mike: "I could look like that if I let myself go for a week."
Kevin: "I could look like that NOW!"
"A site where riffs evolved from movies?!"

"It's a mad house. A mad house!"

"So, ready for this movies version of the Pod Race?"   Laugh out loud moment for me. :highfive:

I found it funny that both the Round Table riffers and the Rifftrax riffers both thought "Podrace" when we saw where the quiddich thing was going.

bratpop

The podrace... er, I mean quidditch music in chamber of secrets sounds exact like the broomstick... I mean podrace in episode one. And then at the end you can hear, "Your minutes have expired. Please insert 25 cents to continue call."

See, cos John Williams was phoning it in. I'm funny.
