It would be great if George Lucas was a guest riffer on this! He hates this so much, I think it would be awsome for him to release some pent up rage on it.

All I really need is a file. Is anyone bold enough to figure out what the definitive Rifftrax Star Wars Christmas file is and post it on a site where it may be downloaded? (Maybe also on Google Video since they don't seem to care? I want good image quality when I burn it to DVD and watch it on my 40 inch, and good syncing. :^)

I'm planning on reauthoring like mad on this one.  My ultimate goal is to combine the best-looking copy of the special out there (that I'm aware of, anyway, being a non-Star-Wars-geek) with the commercials from the DVD that matches the Google Video version, and, if necessary, the scroll from the Google Video version.  I assume it's going to take a lot of my free time, but I hope to have all that done within a week or so of the release.  I don't really have the means to host a file anywhere, but I'd be more than willing to mail out a DVD to you or someone else who could host the disc image (of the special only, of course -- reauthoring once you have it should go just like any other reauthor, or watch it the low-tech way) for all those obsessive RiffTrax fans such as ourselves.

Yes, I realize it's only 5am out in San Diego.  It's just rare for a new Rifftrax to be released on my day off, where I can watch it straight away.

I promise to buy several other Rifftrax too, if you guys release it early today.   (Actually I was gonna buy Fantastic Four and Missile To The Moon anyway, but I figured a bribe might help.)

Here, I offer this bribe to perhaps make you more willing to release the new Rifftrax in the AM instead of waiting until the afternoon.

I'm looking forward to this.  I've been sick all week, I saw this was going to be the rifftrax, I found and DLed it form Google and burned it on DVD complete with a nice lightscribe cover, and all before I realized this was indeed the version I need.  I work third and I'm still sick and have tonight off, so I'll be asleep when it drops, but I'll see it tonight in a Nyquil induced stupor.  Hoorah!!

Since I have a data copy on the compy, I should edit the trax over it and put it on DVD like I did with Nester.  Happy Life Day everyone!

Let me know if you toss that up on myspleen I'd be more than happy to download and seed the hell out of it, I know they have at least two other version on there but don't think they have the commercials. I also have invites to that site preferably to people I know of on the forums. Sorry new people and people I don't know, nothing personal.
