I'm surprised nobody has mentioned "Supergirl" with Helen Slater! Here was a movie that made NO SENSE whatsoever! The villainess is (terribly) played by Faye Dunaway as a woman who wants to take over the world, but wants to gain the love of the neighborhood's landscaper first! It was terrible and completely blew Elektra" out of the water as the WORST comic book movie ever made (at least for me)! The adorableness that is Helen Slater couldn't even save this flick!
"How would I go about creating a half-man, half-monkey-type creature?"
"I'm sorry, that would be playing God."
"God shmod! I want my monkey-man!"

I heard it different, that there was a fan who believed he was really Superman and shot him so he could see the bullet bounce off his chest.

That one is true, sort of.  The story is that a kid brought a loaded gun to a public appearance of George Reeves and told him he wanted to shoot it at him to see his invulnerability to bullets first hand. Reeves convinced him not to shoot by telling him that the bullet could bounce off of him and hurt somebody else in the crowd.

I've read that in a couple of magazine articles about George Reeves.
I really do like pie.

Wow, smart man...and a good inspiration for the scene in Unbreakable, even if what he said to convince the kid was different.

See Hollywoodland....despite Ben Affleck being in it and it getting the stuff about From Here to Eternity wrong (there never was a premiere of the film and he was only cut from the television prints)....it's pretty good.

Although I still want someone to explain why no one ever mentions what the neighbors say they heard (or didn't hear) as far as the number of shots.  Or did no one bother to ask them?

If only I had the cash lying around, I'd make my own fan-movie adaptation of "Mad Love" just because Harley Quinn rocks.  One more reason I play the powerball.   ;D

You know, that DID get made as an episode of Batman: The Animated Series....

I know, I have the complete series and it's utter greatness.  I think the story deserves a feature length treatment though.

The Generation X tv movie ranks up there on the unfaithful list:

Holy crap, I was just thinking about that movie.  I still have it taped off of Fox somewhere in my old VHS shelf.

I don't know WHY I still have it, but I do.  Guess I could just never find it when I could tape over it.
Maybe I'll make a deal with you for it....I love Matt Frewer.

Sorry to get your hopes up, I've looked through my old VHS collection and I can't find that tape anywhere.   :(  It's been a long time since I've watched it, and I have moved three times since then, so there's many ways it could have been lost.  If I ever come across it in a forgotten box or something I'll let you know though.

Appreciate you looking for it.

I was one of the few people who liked the Hulk but it's been long enough that I don't remember it enough to defend it.

I think the upcoming Wanted will be pretty stinky.  Just a feeling.

I still want there to be an option on the dvd where you can replace the CGIHulk with Ang Lee in the motion capture suit, it'd make the scenes of destruction adorable.

bratpop

Trust me, you wouldn't like Hulk when he's Ang Lee.

I can't get over how crappy that list is. Here is the real list, in no particular order, extended to 10, which includes only one on their list:

Catwoman- Sexy Catburglar becomes embarrassing woman with vague cat powers.
Steel- Superman's token black sidekick becomes Shaq pretending to be a rocket scientist.
League of Extraordinary Gentlemen- Edgy comic becomes faux feel good film. And they added two characters, AND made one of them into a vampire.
Constantine- I just.... no. Good Lord. What the hell? I mean, seriously?
Batman Returns- Best take on Catwoman, but the Penguin is an insane sewer dweller with clown thugs.
Blade- Not all that bad a film, but not like the comic. (Buy the way, in the comics, he kills Dracula with the help of a detective and a sorcerer. It was awesome.)
Generation X- Made up characters, weird ass story, and Max Headroom.
Man Thing- Swamp Thing meets made up Native American legends.
Supergirl- Her costume just appears when she arrives on Earth? What?
Alien vs Predator- Probably wasn't even meant to be based on the comic, but still.

Wait, there was a Man Thing Movie?
