Ok, so people are getting down on this whole "waterboarding" thing and it may not be allowable anymore at gitmo to interrogate suspects.

As an alternative to waterboarding, electrodes on the scrotum and other harmless fun and games the bush administration can't understand the objections to, I was thinking we could do up a list of movies to show suspected terrorists to force them to talk.

I mean, it's not torture in the physical sense to make people watch, say, "Battlefield earth", is it?

So why not list the movies you think cpould break even the toughest terrorist and make him tell you where OBL's hiding?

I'd suggest maybe Manos the hands of fate for starters. God, that made Plan 9 from outer space look cogent and interesting...

How 'bout Fahrenheit 911?

Oh wait, they wouldn't be tortured at all by the "truth"...

Actually, I have an actual suggestion. Make them watch any movie with Women succeeding in the business world, even being boss over men. That would infuriate them to no end, and eventually they'd crack under the pressure of a world in which women are completely equal to men.

Every DIsney Straight to video sequel. Oh wait, then they would just look at the americans and say "see why we hate your country?"

The 1967 version of Casino Royale, on a non-stop loop, Clockwork Orange style.  They'd go insane within a day, and their brains would turn into Jello Pudding.

The brave few who aren't reduced to jibbering, 1960's go-go dancing wrecks will assume that WE'RE insane (since we're the ones who made it, after all).  We could threaten them with ANYTHING (even if it violates every domestic, international, and fundamental physical law), and they'd believe it.
Correction: the coat hanger should be upside down.

Make them watch the first Star Wars Trilogy, so they're lured into a false sense of security and delight.  Then force the new Trilogy on them, the sheer number of plot holes and amount of terrible acting will annihilate their souls.

If there are a couple resilient ones, then after the New Trilogy show Transfomers.  Then their spirit will be left broken wondering how someone can create a movie with more plot holes than Lucas.

Now now, this is dangerous territory.  You try and torture people with bad movies, you'll just end up with them making fun of them and building robots, and we don't want terrorists with robotics skills!

Al Gore's, An Inconvenient load of crap propoganda, in which I want you all living in grass shacks, while I enjoy my five lear jets, and my air conditioned mansions.  ;D  And don't forget those rock concerts to "raise consciousness" about global warming.  Of course rock concerts don't put out any carbon.  Nooooooooooooooooo.   :rimshot:

Maybe, the tourists at Club Gitmo will all become eco-terrorists and we can set them lose on Gore and John Edwards for not buying enough carbon credits  :P
Are you my virgins?  I hope not!
