Insert Coin(s) to Continue

I can get to the main screen of the Rifftrax Player, but when I load the Rifftrax (Spider-Man, in my case) the pop-up window saying it's loading the Rifftrax comes up and completes its progress bar, but then the screen goes black and nothing ever happens. My DVD is in and the .riff file is legitimate. I can go into full-screen mode and I can adjust the various volume, but neither the Rifftrax or the movie plays. The navigation bar is greyed out as well, so I can't use that. Any ideas?

There gonna wanna know what OS your running, and any error messages that pop up.  You may just need the codecs everyone is talking about.

Thank you. That seems to be describing my problem exactly. The fix wasn't quite so easy, though. I downloaded the codec (mentioned in the "DVD Doesn't Work? Download This!" thread) and still nothing happens.

I'm using the Fullscreen version of Spider-Man (bad form, I know). Would that affect it?

Unless I'm looking at a different thread, the one you mentioned is for an audio codec.  You may need a video codec as well.

See this thread:  http://forum.rifftrax.com/index.php/topic,5961.0.html

If that doesn't work, send an e-mail to RiffTrax Support.  The address is near the bottom of the player FAQ.
