I just realized Jeff Daniels, Alan Tudyk & Dave Coullier don't share ANY DNA!

At least, they're not related. I'd hate to put the hoodoo on a possible narcissistic gay 3-way they might plan.

Dave Coullier- the dork from Full House- is the person about which Alanis Morissette wrote "You Oughta Know."

You mean VH1 isn't a 100% dependable news source!?

Why... that would in itself be a startling realization...

Shredder died in the first issue of the original TMNT comics.

Ah now there was one of my startling realizations:

Shredder and Wil Smith's Uncle Phil played by the same guy!

Oh and Penny Gadget is Cree Summer (technically the other way round)

Oh Uncle Gadget what stupid predicament will I extracate you from this time?

I was startled when I got ahold of and sat down to watch the DVDs for Red Dwarf, only to discover that "Peterson" is now much more well known for his role as Mr. Weasley in the Harry Potter movies. That would have been a nice, obscure reference to include in the Harry Potter round table riff, if only the bastard had had the decency to appear in the first HP movie. ;)

Was that the joke you were asking for cue times for?

See I said that more about the penny gadget. but it was more like OH. MY. GOD. PENNY GADGET'S VOICE IS BLEEDING HOT.

But that's me, I love Ms Summer.

...

Rob Zombie was a production assistant on Pee-wee's Playhouse.

My startling realization is that, despite 2 months of burning curiosity about it, I wouldn't have gotten Chaos's mystery joke anyway.

That's the duck.

What was the joke going to be?

Something about Smart Shoes?

Chaos

No, it was an "obscure person" joke. Mike does them sometimes. The first time Weasely showed up on screen I was going to say "Peterson?" all incredulously / confuzzled.

I was a huge Superman fan as a kid, but I think I only saw the yellow sections of the symbol for years, never figuring out there was a huge fucking S.  I try to do that now and it's just impossible. I think I was  retarded...maybe I still am.  Have you seen my baseball?<BR>

You aren't the only one, I think I was 10 or so before I realized there was an S in there.  The yellow they used just seems to jump out more.

That fact almost ruined my ability to watch the old turtles cartoon a couple years ago.  Finally got over it though, now it makes me laugh.
