Pak-Man

I learned that the sky is blue on the moon, the sun will burn you alive, there are caves with oxygen in them, and asteroid fields between here and there. :^)

Tyrant

I learned that you can build a rocket to the moon out of pegboard.

I also learned that it's impossible to outrun/dodge rock creatures despite the fact that they're moving about 20 feet an hour.

RoninFox

I learned that if a blue woman stares at you long enough, you HAVE to listen to her.

???...I learned that you can go to the moon in a WWII German V2 rocket....i think a little backround check is in order for the old professor :scared:

Darth Geek

I can't figure out why they have a bottom of the rocket in the launchpad set, but used a FLAT CARDBOARD CUTOUT when they first get out on the moon. Why didn't they use their own prop?

Darth Geek

I learned that Gary is smart, and Lon is shrewd. I'm glad I was told this, as I wouldn't have learned it any other way.

Darth Geek

I learned that rocket countdowns apparently have to do with levers. Really big levers.

Darth Geek

I learned where Galaxy Quest got the idea of a rock creature.

Darth Geek

I learned that rocks can be dangerous. It's really really slow danger, but I will now live my life in constant fear.

Darth Geek

I learned that even with psychic powers, Leto is still easily confused between Dirk and Steve.

Darth Geek

Crap, now that I've seen those hot blue chicks in this movie, I get an erection whenever I watch the Smurfs.

Darth Geek

That the spider creatures is NOT a Muppet. And neither is Mike.

Shouldn't the moon girls not be blue until after the rest of their air escapes?
This movie seemed to give me further proof that absolutely every 1950s movie had to have at least one "dancing girl" scene.  If you've ever seen a 50s movie without a dance sequence, you should edit one into it.

Indomitus

I learned that the moon women who still had their sight couldn't tell that Steve wasn't a moon person even though he clearly wasn't blue.

I also learned that a society that's adapted somehow to include only women will still fall in line and serve them obediently when they finally do show up.

It's a black and white film.  I haven't seen this yet.  Do the characters say that the sky is blue?

If it was the manufacturer that did that, then I add that to my list of why I hate colorization.
