I would watch Temple of Doom 800 times before watching Return of the Jedi.
Now would be a good time to take my anti-psychotic medication.

Ha, ha, you like ewoks.

Honestly, I thought some things about it (Temple of Doom) were kind of ridiculous, compared to the Judeo-Christian theme of Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade.   Okay, so the Ark of the Covenant is real and just as dangerous as it's described in the Bible, and the Holy Grail is
real too.   But voodoo is real too?  So are all religions correct?  Somehow Temple of Doom seemed like a Hercules/Xena episode
to me, and a below average one at that, with a cackling Hindu kid using a voodoo doll to hurt Indy--wait a minute, Hindus practice voodoo?
Nevermind.  Forget it.   Trying to "think" about this movie in any way will only hurt your head and leave you none the wiser.

I also didn't realize that Hindus subsist mainly on a diet of scorpions, snake fetuses, spiders, cockroaches, millipedes, refuse, and ants.
This film is almost laughable in its grotesquely racist portrayal of Hindus as primitive cannibalistic human-sacrificing Satanic filth-eaters.
I wonder how Spielberg would feel about a film that depicted Jews cackling and snorting solid gold coins into huge, oversized plastic prop noses,
before partaking in a feast of ham, shellfish, and human babies?  He probably wouldn't find it funny, and he certainly wouldn't find it entertaining.

Well I certainly didn't get that, not from a Banquet with the Child King, I think the point was that the rich were eating amazingly extravagant food, after we had seen the poverty that the village was in. Plus of course these same people turned out to be the cult leaders.

Ahhh, right, I forgot, the cult of Kali, which apparently involves a lot of voodoo.   In tantric yoga, reverence to Kali means an acceptance of death.
In this case, it means eating insects (an opulent, rich-person food?) and carving the hearts out of people?  How would that be different from a
movie with a cult of Jews who make giant Stars of David out of the blood of virgins, and stuff the orifices of their slain enemies with bacon and ham?  Hindus, even evil death-cult Hindus, doing voodoo is like Catholics using telekinesis, astral projection or levitation.
Incidentally, I think that voodoo doll was supposed to be one of me, not Indy, because I definitely felt a lot of pain while I was watching this movie.

Temple of Doom was easily the worst of the three, no question there.

All of the $@% D$@* screaming Capshaw was doing throughout the movie added nothing to the plot.  Or maybe I should have said "screeching"...
Narrator: Johnny even got to the midway for a ride, but the fun didn't last nearly long enough.

Servo (as Narrator): Johnny's car rolled and burned.

Ha, ha, you like ewoks.
Yup. If you were going to be forced to be around Slave Children and people eating insects, eel, monkey's
brains and have little more than a mole hill for a climax, then yes I am sure you would prefer Ewoks too.

I would prefer eating out an ewoks asshole before watching them, excuse my french.

Okay! I don't think you'll find anybody to second you on that though.

Acually it's not that bad.  Especially when the ewok giggles at you while you do it.  It's kinda cute.
