When storing explosives, be sure to keep them all in one big pile out in the open in the middle of the battlefield.

Well, just to state the obvious, That.....Was....SPARTA.

I learned that the Spartans were ruled by the Scottish.

Just Some Guy

I learned that despite the fact that their specific tactics are major plot points, Spartans will immediately abandon phalanx formation and a superior defensive position for the sake of fast/slow-motion running around and killing.

Tony Farms AKA Puma Man

I learned that this is the most homoerotic movie EVER.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Junkyard

I learned that making a given group of people underdogs, they can be heroes even if they're baby killing war machines.

Tell me about it.  I was going to poll if 300 or Top Gun was more homoerotic but then I realized that 300 set new standards of homoeroticism that can only be outdone by yaoi.

Junkyard

There have always been sweaty men movies, and a few of them have had sweaty men who seem to like each other more than they like their wives, but only Top Gun has had the "You can be my wing man anytime. *snaps jaw*" line. So don't talk crazy, people.

MontyServo

I have learned that Mike, Kevin, and Bill are comedy gods among men.

And that Rifftrax should strive to do more recent films whenever possible.

300 on Rifftrax is a major event!  Here's hoping that more "day and date" Rifftrax are in our future!

I learned that Dis DOES have standards, as well as apparently enough of a physical form to wear upsetting leather underwear.

I learned that in SPAH-TON times, humanity had not yet developed blood cells, which meant that we had to use chocolate syrup to keep things running smoothly.  I also learned that while Dis is 'free' enough to wear leather underwear, he's no doubt installing V-chips as we speak...

Ortega

ive learned that in ancient times, people stashed money in their underwear.....

Yeah, I was wondering how they were going to handle that rape scene, and they did it the best way possible.
