Not much to add except that I've long known Mothra is a female. Emphasis on "Is."

Mothra's still alive?  Sorry....I thought she bought it a few movies ago.

I love the Toilet Duck ads, I'll have to find some and post them.

Though "Lavātōrium Anatidae"  would be more like "Washing Duck" it was the best I could do off the top of my head.

Figured you were going for "bathroom duck".

Isn't there something purpose defeating about a clear toilet seat and lid?

Toilet Duck commercial on YouTube.

(I can't figure out that YouTube connection on here)

You'd have to keep it pretty damn clean, that's for sure. But I'm just now thinking about how fascinating it would be to put a mirror in front of yourself while you're on the transparent toilet and see yourself doing your business in a way you've never seen it before.

The character that, early in the movie, is established at having an unusual or wacky skill that will have nothing to do with the situation that will unfold later on in the movie and realistically shouldn't/couldn't be an asset. And then later said character uses this skill because it suddenly becomes an asset.

Or the character that's really bad at doing something that, later on in the movie, is forced to do that very thing to save everyones' lives and is suddenly able to DO IT WELL.

I really want to see a serious action movie where both these scenerios involve the skill of putting 25 tennis balls in one's mouth.

Heh.  ;D Now I think of it, though, John Irving pulled off that first one rather well in A Prayer for Owen Meany. But he's probably the only one who ever did.

Ducky, that toilet seat is what Mike and the guys would call good old-fasioned nightmare fuel.

Hmm. How about the "Seemingly innocent woman/young man surprises male lead protagonist by knowing how to hotwire a car"? It's always followed up by a line like "I grew up on the streets of ______ stealing Rolexes for money...." or "You'd be surprised what else you don't know about me".

But it's never later followed up by revealing the innocent woman is in fact a young man or vice versa (well except in the book "Frank" and Me). But that would be a nice twist.

Or if the character in question gets electrocuted, or deploys the airbag by accident and has his neck broken when it inflates and bends his head over his shoulders at mach 3.

I'm totally going to buy that, and then pull a Moen Faucet commercial by going to a contractor, slapping it on his desk, and telling him to build a house around THAT.

I rather like this one

Those these two are rather memorable:

I'm sorry, okay? There's just something overwhelmingly masuline about a glowing Duck Vader!

There's something feminine about butterflies/moths....even if they're Japanese.   ;)   Mothra was a she.

And female rubber ducks are hard to come by.....and a .gif of a flashing duck is funnier than...

My usual screenname makes people think I'm male too, Duckie (sorry, I'm attached to that.  I'll stop if you want me to), so I can empathize.
