Nope, not on vacation. Try again :D

Well, if no one is on Vacation,   and it's going to take till the 24th before we know what  is the next film to be riffed, that could mean one of a few things.   Either the movie is a long one and it's taking extra time to write.  Or we've got a special guest riffer who is being kept secret, and could be joining in on the writing process for the episode, but has a limited schedule for when and how long they can take part in the fun,  but if so who could it be?   What better way to celebrate their anniversary but to take some time to do something big.
AHH! There's an Idea!! :o
Wow, I hope their's some Truth to that Theory!

When did Joel leave RiffTrax?
Or When did he become a part of RiffTrax?

He never was a part of Rifftrax, true. But I've never seen him do anything after MST3K besides the cameo in Freaks and Geeks. So it's kinda like the return of Joel doing... stuff. And the return of Joel riffing.

We Understand.. Bringing back the Creator of MST3k along with the Riff-Master Himself (and other guests for that matter), Would Be AWSOME!

Ooo, there's even a great movie tie in for that, Superman Returns,.  Sure may be some better choices for a movie to riff with Joel, but few with as perfect a cheesy title to boot..

RaoulDuke

i think there gonna do the extended cut of two towers
that would proably take them awhile

and would be well worth the wait
Ninjas don't kill people, Pat Morita playing a ninja kills people.

PlayMSTie

I'm pulling for my dream riff: Titanic with Kevin, Bill, Bridget, Mary Jo, and every other classic riffer they can scare up!  :)
"There are no ordinary people. You have never talked to a mere mortal." C. S. Lewis

Bring back Bridget!

Dan Nations

Aren't they gonna be at comic con?

6079SmithW

Maybe they're working with the penny arcade guys, who will also be at that con

I'm all for them riffing Two Towers, but why riff the extended cut? Is there some riffable scene in the extended version that's worth them having to sit and talk through another hour or so of footage?

Wow, all I can think of is tom servo wearing a black goatee shouting that at joel, like in one of the old non movie segments of mst3k

Natureboy

they are just waiting for George Clooney to be available to riff Batman and Robin.   ;)
