You know it would have been a lot cooler if Roland Emmerich had a story about the Sumerians having Giant Robots.  Sumerians are cool being the first civilization and all, but giving them Giant Robots?  Thats made of win and awesome.  [always wanted to say that]

I still like my Ancient Sumerian mechs idea personally.  Post-apocalyptic tale where the last Sumerians resist the conquering Akkadians with big ass robots and cuneiform derogatory slang all over the place.

Worst excess of Anime and Hollywood blended together into the most unforgettable movie ever concieved.

The title would have to be "Sumer" in big ass lettering.

EDIT:  I guess this is what happens when you have a Getter Robo marathon for yourself.  Would still be a nice piece of satire... I wonder if I write the script, would a Hollywood company make it?

The Atlantians (not the state) were ancient construction contractors that built many of the ancient peoples greatest monuments with their giant robot technology.  Rivalry with Athens caused the failed invasion, and the subsequent political upheaval sparked a civil war that weaponized these robots and caused the island to be destroyed in a single day.

Robots made entirely out of clay. Like the golem. That's why we haven't found evidence of them. All that's left are pot sherds.

No I meant if you wanted to write one and fancied writing with somebody in a collaborative type thing. I have big ideas about hopw to make Bronze Punk work but you know it's good to bounce them off somebody and, conversely to have somebody try out their ideas.
