Not saying they are right or they are wrong (although their comments that "The Island" was too smart for most movie goers was hilarious), just posting what they think.

Seriously, their "The Island" comment had me rolling.

it scares me to think that a mighty mouse movie might be coming in the same vein, its the natural progression.

Be afraid. I just saw a poster for Alvin & The Chipmunks.

Tim Burton's Care Bears: The Movie!

Dark Heart will be played by Jeffrey Jones.

A brief word from a non-Transformers fan.

Just got back from the 8:00 showing. My reaction? Pretty good. Not jaw-droppingly good, but pretty enjoyable. Special effects were spectacular. Action scenes were very nice, marred only by a few shots that seemed too CGI-y. (Plus some minor annoyances with Bay's directing style,)  And the story was okay. It is an action film after all, not say, the Illusionist. It's an enjoyable film, but I didn't enjoy it as much as I did Die Hard.

What got the biggest reaction of the night? "Spider Pig." (That's not a spoiler for TF, BTW.)

And now back to scaring people with upcoming films.

It's Steven Segal starring in the remake of "It's a Wonderful Life"! (Coming Christmas 2007)

I just saw it tonight... I and everyone else cheered and laughed at the appropriate times and I enjoyed the movie with a sincerity that can only be described as blissful. This IS the movie I have been waiting for my whole life.  :)

(CNN) -- The most expensive toy commercial ever made, "Transformers," Michael Bay's live-action film about the surprisingly durable Hasbro product line, is long, loud and altogether less than meets the eye.

That comment just proves how clueless the reviewer is. Transformers are surprisingly durable? The appeal of Transformers toys is obvious - you can play with them. Unless virtually every other action figure ever created, it takes a modicum of skill and learning to transform a truck into a robot and back. Transformers are brilliant toys, but they have a cartoon so they must rot children's brains.  ::)

I saw it too. I nearly crapped myself in terror. And why is Jason Lee in all these things?

Where did you guys see this poster? I want to be engulfed in the horror!

It reminds of the web site I wanted to start after the Garfield movies came out:  www.sendbillmurray20bucks.com

At work. Drive to Georgia, and you can see it in our lobby.  :)

My Review>>

I believe it was Aristotle who once said "HOLY SH*T THAT WAS FLIPPIN' AWESOME." And I completely concur with him on that point. No movie has gotten me this jazzed up in a LONG time. I mean, I can't wait to collect all the next gen toys!

I loved it, guys - loved. it. I put together a last-minute group of twenty-eight people and each one of them loved it too! It was an astoundingly good movie, with brilliant special effects (which some of my colleagues worked on), and an excellently paced story full of great characters! Shia was perfect, and so were all the bot voices.

I was incredibly tired when I went to see it and was pretty much riveted for the whole thing once it started. I can't recommend this summer blockbuster enough. If they make a sequel, it'll blast Spider-Man and Pirates out of the water!

You should have heard the audience when "I AM OPTIMUS PRIME." reverberated accross the theater!!!

I'm starting to wonder if it's gonna blow Spiderman and Pirates away with THIS one. With this much positive buzz going on (And pretty much everyone who's seen it is bubbling like J-Proof here) and a long holiday weekend ahead, TF might take the throne in the summer of titans. :^)

J-Proof

You know - I think our favorite 80's cartoon-turned-movie deserves the summer throne!

Even for the casual movie-goer, the decision comes down to a bunch of sequels, or a stellar giant robot smackdown that we have yet to see in a live-action movie with this much hype!

I'd go for the latter ;)

BTW - FREAKING AWESOME TRAILER BEFORE TRANSFORMERS STARTS.
JJ Abrams is apaprently producing and directing a monster-movie that's top secret and is called Cloverfield by the online community. And the trailer is FANTASTIC. As in, people were talking about the trailer as Transformers was starting (at least a minute or so after the trailer had already ended - and the trailer ended without a title I might add)

I was wondering what that was. They seem to be taking on the Simpsons' "Gabbo" style of pre-hype. :^)

J-Proof

Dude - I thought it was awesome, though -didn't you?

The whole movie is going to be shot on consumer mini dv cameras, and Paramount denies that they even know a movie like this is being shot. IMDB doesn't even have it on JJ-Abrams' page.

All's I know is, the movie is RUMORED to be about a parasite-monster invasion, which on the surface doesn't sound that great, but after seeing the trailer, I'll be first in line.
