Chiefs kicker lost them the game last Sunday and got canned on Monday. Was a temporary kicker brought on when starting kicker got hurt. Wasn't a serious injury and assuming starter back this week. Still coupled with my college team making mistakes that cost them their first loss it made for a terrible weekend of football.

Been a bit since I posted here..
After the Bills devastating Week 3 loss to the fins due to the heat, injuries, & the clock at the end in Miami, we couldn't get our act together in Baltimore down 20-3 until the very end of the 2nd qtr. 20-10. Then we managed to claw our way back and tie the game at 20 all until the very end chewing up the clock from the 2 minute warning until 3 seconds left when we got the winning field goal 23-20 Bills!!!

Chiefs beat the Tampa Bay Bradies in their best offensive game of the season this year. Defense looked terrible  especially given that Tampa only ran the ball a handful of times making it obvious that every play was going to be a pass. Buttkicker still not back, but former Jets kicker signed this week looked good - wasn't asked to kick anything very long, but made all his extra points and 2 field goals.

Packers won too but still didn't look good doing it. They are in London next Sunday- 9:30 am eastern start time and I actually prefer that over night games.

Packers blow a 20 to 10 halftime lead to lose 22 to 27 to the Giants in London. Still a lot of season left, but Packers have not looked good year this season.

Matt Rhule fired by Carolina:

I'm sure he won't have trouble getting hired as a college HC - could sit at home and just collect the millions left on his NFL contract, but very few his age do.

Bout time but the owner isn't a very good judge of character, nor is he a good owner ::)

Watching Monday night Chiefs game...so apparently completing a tackle of a QB who fumbles as he's being tackled is now roughing the passer because when the tackle is completed the QB no longer has the ball...I hate some of these NFL rules.

And Chiefs come back and win in a game that felt like the refs played way too big a part in. A half dozen really bad calls that hurt and helped each team more or less equally, but were head scratchers that felt like interpretations of rules played as big a part as anything on the field in the outcome.

Now onto biggest test of the season. Bills @ Chiefs next Sunday afternoon.

MartyS (Gromit)

If QBs were smart from now on they should always stay in the pocket and the moment they start to get tackled just drop the ball, get a free 15 yards, free 1st down, no more sacks....

Agreed.
Our secondary is still banged up but so far the replacements have stepped up when needed. :o

MAN WHAT A GAME!!!
This could have gone either way but what a time for an interception to close out the game!
The Bills go into their Bye 5-1 then host the Packers Week 8 in Buffalo on SNF

Not the outcome I wanted, but yeah, it could have gone either way.

Packers looked terrible in their loss to Jets at home and haven't looked good all year. I'm not a gambler, but whatever the spread is, Bills over Packers would probably be easy money. Rodgers should have retired. Wouldn't put their awfulness on him, but they are multiple players away from being good.

The Packers lose their 3rd in a row lose. This one to the Washington Salamanders.

The Packers @ Bills on Sunday Night Football started out impressive in the first half for the Bills, but the 2nd half was pretty ugly.. Only scoring 3 points in the second half allowing the Pack to score 10.. >:(
Josh Allen threw 2 INTs?! :grr: They got some work to do before taking on the Jets next week in Jersey..

ihavemyreasons

Only watched the first half because I figured it was over at that point.
Appears as if I  was more or less right. Packers offense is terrible.
